We went there over the Labor Day holiday and it was just a mess. The place was way over crowded to where you had 50 people in the 14 capacity pool. People were crammed together. The water was tepid at best. The changing rooms were in a filthy condition, but they just keep letting more and more people in, Fifteen... more

Sol Duc was our first hot springs experience, and it won't be the last. We had a great time soaking in the pools, and we both felt really relaxed and happy by the time we left a few hours later. It was raining when we arrived, so it wasn't crowded. I actually liked soaking in the rain, it helped cool... more

After reading the prior reviews and researching the cabin prices online, I determined that the cabins were overpriced. So we spent all day visiting and hiking the Olympics. In the afternoon, we came to the hot springs to spend about 3 hours and then drove to Forks to sleep. There's a large pool (with lifeguard) that the kids can play... more

Olympic National Park and sites near it were super(highlights were Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent Lodge-have supper there!), The Dungeness Recreation Area/5.5 miles sandspit and Lavender farms near Sequim) and sites within Seattle itself. However!! this attraction was very dirty, they have a full size regular pool (which was closed for 24 hrs because it got contaminated, I think with poop... more

I've been to better hot springs, definitely cleaner ones. The thing off the bat you notice is the strong (rotten egg) sulfer/sulpher smell in the hot tubs around the resort. We did not stay at the resort (because of bad reviews and I'm glad we did not!) but the lodge was shoddy/old and small. The bathrooms are very small and... more

We loved it, and are very surprised to see the bad reviews, but we did not stay in the rooms, we had an RV. We have gone back several times over because we love the scenery so much. The pools are crowed yes but the view of the mountains especially in the winter is something else . The lodge was... more

The Sol Duc Hot Springs does not have a good value compared with Lake Crescent Lodge which we stayed in before going to Sol Duc Hot Springs. The lodging, view and the restaurant at Lake Crescent was a much better value. I would recommend just visiting Sol Duc Hot Springs for the pools. The pools are unique and very relaxing. more

Recently returned from a wonderful sightseeing vacation to Washington & Oregon. Thought I had done some pretty good research before I left but apparently not good enough & while I did use this website for help, I obviously didn’t for Sol Duc. Somewhere I read about Sol Duc hotsprings & having been to Yellowstone’s was looking forward to this. Walking... more

The entire place is filthy and the staff makes me afraid to leave my personal belongings unattended. I'm sure the pools would have been nice if we hadn't been wedged into them like sardines. more

The good: The park setting is very serene. There are three pools filling with burbling sulpher spring water in temperatures ranging from 98 to 104 degrees Farenheit. There is a fourth pool filled with regular chlorinated water that is heated to 76 degrees. We timed our visit with a rainfall and enjoyed cool showers while soaking in warm water. The... more
