We stopped here as part of our Resurrection Bay cruise for lunch. We had delicious prime rib along with other buffet items. The bathrooms were very clean. The beach area was beautiful, smooth stones perfect for skipping. Wish we were here for more than just lunch - would have loved to explore more!

Our stay on Fox Island was relaxing. The staff was very helpful- they were friendly and professional and seemed to really be on their game. We enjoyed the kitchen experience with the chef (who was not at all phased by the minor earthquake that happened while we were making our salmon skewers!). The rocky beach was fun to explore. The... This was a wonderful stop on our way back from seeing the glaciers. We were served salmon and prime rib along with salads and drinks. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very friendly. Well worth the visit!

Staff were very helpful, friendly. Meals by chef Ryan were delicious. Park rangers are there each day to give a talk. It's very quiet and peaceful. Note the only electrical outlets are in the main building and there is no wifi. The ship staff from Seward to the island do an excellent job!

Fox Island Lodge, overnight stay was the highlight of our trip to AK this summer. There are 4 cabins with 4 plexes. The accomodations are 5 star, and it's a cabin..No electricity in the cabins, only the lodge. This is where you come to relax and enjoy the great food prepared by your own personal chef. With the 4 cabins,... More

Our trip to Fox Island netted us many sightings of whales. I am happy to say that one whale made our day and decided to completely and reverently jump out of the water in what seemed to be an act of play. We also enjoy seeing several bald eagles and other species of wildlife. Once on Fox Island we enjoyed... More

Took a ride with lunch to Fox Island and then went looking for whales. We saw them as well as sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises. Captain Brian was at the helm and he was wonderful. We learned so many new things from him. I highly recommend this Company and Captain.

Kenai Fjords Tours has a mealstop on Fox Island on their tour boats. It's more of a shuffle the crowd through type of buffet, but it's not bad. I feel bad for the park ranger or speaker that gives a presentation through the lunch because they're giving the presentation over everybody talking, laughing, and carrying on. I would recommend that... More

This small out of the way island with a few cabins had the best staff ever. Meals are included and the chefs were excellent. The people went out of their way to make your stay extra special. Kayaking at 8 PM on Solstice was fantastic. Saw eagles and cool purple sea stars. What a great place to stay for a... More

This was a very interesting place. The building hosts a variety of furs and skulls of local animals and the park ranger onsite was very knowledgeable and told us all about the original settlers of the area. The rocks there are flat and perfect for skipping into the beautiful water.
