I would say they give you your moneys worth- $30 for a soak in a National Park in Historic Hot Springs. I always wanted to do this, but it really didnt impress me. It didnt look too sanitary. I wish I would have been offered some flip-flops or read to bring something for my feet. It is very easy to... More

Our threesome was trying to decided on a Hot Springs bath when a visit to the Fordyce House Museum convinced us to go old school and choose their neighbor, the Buckstaff Baths. It's historically accurate, and will give you a true glimpse of what Hot Springs must've been like during its heyday. The men and women bathe on separate floors,... More

Hot Springs is a national park, and is the FIRST federally protected public property in US history. Hot Springs predates Yellowstone protection by 50 years, by Act of Congress in 1836, when Andrew Jackson was President. The Buchstaff is a pampered spa experience when combined with a message. Totally relaxing. More

The Buckstaff still operates in traditional bathouse fashion and it's a totally fun experience. The prices are VERY reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Leave your inhibitions at home and enjoy being pampered. The building and techniques are all true to tradition and you can easily imagine the ladies of the 1920s enjoying the very... More

This was our first time visiting Hot Springs. The traditional bathing package at the Buckstaff was recommended as the way to really have the complete experience, as it is the only bathhouse that has been running continuously since the 1900's. The package included 15 minutes soaking in a deep claw foot tub filled with hot mineral water, 5-minute sitz and... More

We had friends who had gone to the Buckstaff Bathhouse and had recommended it to us. We're glad we went. Three of us went, and all three of us had a great experience. We ordered the complete package for $78 which included: mineral bath and soak in tub with jetted hot springs water; loofah scrub of arms, legs, and back... More
