Bill (william) was very entertaining. We got to the bike company at 3 AM and it was raining. We thought that the trip was ruined but it ended to be an awesome trip. They provided us with rain suits. I get mountain sick very soon so I was very nervous about the bus ride to the top. But we were... More

We scheduled this for our first morning on Maui but still the sunrise ride was too early. Arrived for the summit deluxe and we were immediately fitted for proper helmet and bike - with special attention to our 10 year old son and his safety. Top of the mountain was clouded in and Bill did his best to find the... More

Our family scheduled a trip on 4/15/14 - Summit sunrise and a bike down. Weather was horrible. Completely socked in at top. Saw nothing. No crater. No sun. We were even taken by observatories and were told they were out there somewhere. Roads were terribly slick and visibility was minimal. We were given option of still doing bike ride. Tried... More

We did the summit deluxe. Sunrise was just too early for us. Our driver up was so knowledgeable (akila?) And hilarious. He made sure everything was OK before he went back. Had to pick up my mom because she fell and then changed out my husband bike cuz the back brake sounded funny. All in all we had a great... More

Very fun trip. Our guide, Tim, was funny, entertaining, and very knowledgable if the area and history. The sunrise was unbelievable. But it is COLD. don't think you can just go up there in a tshirt. Be prepared for the morning. We got everything we needed, and had a great ride down, stopping at Kulas restaurant on the way, which... More

Do this bike ride on your first or second morning in Maui if you're coming from the States so the early morning call won't be as difficult once your body has adjusted to island time. We loved the unguided tour, eucalyptus forest, lavender farm suggestion, and the many roadside photo opportunities. The sunrise is breathtaking but it was shockingly cold... More

The team was amazing! Such energy, even at 2am. Cory, Kimo, and Fred on the return trip to the hotel. Thank you guys for the experience of a lifetime! The extras of island history/knowledge and comedic relief made the early wake up worth it! Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed our sunrise tour & bike ride down. Bill was a great guide with thorough knowledge of the mountain & overall history of the islands. I learned a lot & enjoyed Bill's presentation. The clouds didn't cooperate for us to see the sunrise, but that's one of the risks & can't fault the company for that. The ride down... More

We did the sunrise bike ride and had a great experience. We arrived at 3:30am and Bill was our guide. He got us setup with helmets, rain/wind gear, gloves, and fitted us for bikes. We left the store on time and took the hour and a half drive to the crater's top. Along the way Bill was very helpful informing... More

We took the deluxe summit tour and had a blast. Our group age range was from 12 years old to 46 years old. Kimo was wonderful and took the most hilarious vacation picture of our group ever! We could not stop laughing. The ride down could be challenging in wet weather but we lucked out. As long as you follow... More
