The loop road through Cades Cove is one way so it can be slow going at times. A great place to spot wildlife. Several cabins and churches to look at. Take a picnic lunch to eat at the Cable Mill area.

I believe that the view is gorgeous with the many outlooks. The final destination in Cades Cove has my review. Wasn't sure if this would constitute as the same thing.

It was pretty and neat history. What we didn't like was how long it took to drive through. It gets very backed up. I like Roaring Forks Nature Trail much better.

Our first time to Gatlinburg and went on the Cades Cove Loop Road tour with our car. The views along the winding road was amazing. We went middle afternoon and didn't see many wild life, just a deer and a turkey, If we were younger we would have liked to do some hiking I heard there are some awesome trails.... More

We went on a Monday afternoon. The 11 mile loop took forever. I can't imagine going during the weekend. We didn't see anything until the end and by that time we were just ready to get out of there. Sorry. 2 hours wasted.......

Every time I come to Gatlinburg I make sure I have time to visit the loop! I've been many places and to me it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. I love all the hiking opportunities (by the way, Abrams Falls is the best) and the views are like nowhere else. It's a must!

We recently toured Cades Cove Loop Road. We had been to the Smoky Mountains many times, but had not took the Cades Cove Loop. Yes it's nice and pretty and I don't want to take away from the area, but it is a driving tour through a mountain valley with fields and homesteads. We live in the country and see... More

We always visit Cades Cove when we go to TN. It is awesome. We love looking at the historical sites like churches and cabins. You can view bears, deer, turkeys, foxes, and many more animals throughout the loop drive.

Our party consisted of grandparents, my husband and I and our two little ones. We let the kids ride in our laps because of the low speed and frequent excursions. We loved stopping and walking to each of the historical buildings, cabins and churches! Bring a picnic and scope out a beautiful view for your lunch.
