There is an abundance of wildlife here, so my tips are get there early (deer and such are most active right at daylight and right before dark), pack a lunch, and wear some comfortable shoes! While the driving loop is still amazing, the trails and waterfalls are beautiful and work the hike. A lot of the trails are fairly easy,... More

We live less than an hr from Cades Cove and visit it often. Today we drove thru and have never seen it in the condition it was today. All the fields are in dire need of mowing! Looked so unkept, and the grass was so tall you may not be able to see the animals that were out there. FIrst... More

My family has visited cades cove multiple times. It is always a enjoyable place to visit for young and old. The wildlife; deer, turkey, black bears, etc will walk right up to your vehicle. Walking inside the old homes and churches and reading about the people that lived there is fascinating. In the early morning and evening before the park... More

We saw a bear and 3 deer. The homes and churches in the area, are full of history, The Rangers and volunteers were very informative. And great scenery, You have to see it to believe it.

We visited Cade's Cove during our recent trip. It took about 2 hours to drive through the 11 mile loop. We saw lots of deer and we got to see a bear too. It is relaxing and fun. Free (except for the gas it takes to do) and I would do again.

It's a must see if you are in the area. We spent about a hour driving on Cade's cove loop and it was spectacular.

We took the 11 mile loop and stopped at various locations. Very charming. Stop at the methodist church and visit the tiny cemetary. Very historical, beautiful. At the rest area make sure you get some amish preserves. To die for!!!!! I wish i could have hiked this beautiful trail. There is only one bathroom stop, so make sure you are... More
