Float down the snake

Kent was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgable, personable, and made the trip fun for everyone. Would do this again next year!

The trip provides a gentle way to see the area from another viewpoint. Our boat leader spent more time talking about a future trip he wants with one of the customers than explaining the area. We were able to see eagles and a moose. The boat leader had the animals pointed out to him. Expensive for what we felt we... More

I did the breakfast wagon tour. It was a nice experience and my son (5) seemed to have a good time. The wagon ride was about an hour to the campsite. I recommend getting coffee before you leave since it was a long trip out to the site without coffee. Once you get to the sight, there is a priceless... More

Had a nice morning ride to Swan Lake and Heron Pond. The young wranglers were good and informative. Met some nice fellow riders. My one complaint is that the group was spread out too far. There was a young boy in the middle of the group who couldn't get his horse to pick up the pace. Then the horse galloped... More

Peaceful float down the Snake River. We saw all kinds of wildlife so be sure to take your camera. There were no Rapids and our guide, Will was very skilled and knowledgable. Appropriate for the entire family!

We took the early morning float trip down the Snake River. What a beautiful view to see the sun come up over the Teton's. Spectacular views everywhere. Yes it is cold at 4 am but definitely worth it. Dress in layers. We did not take off any clothing as the sun had not warmed up by the time we completed... More

Well organized, excellent/knowledgable river guide. We did not luck out with the weather as the clouds obscured the mountain views, and the occasional light drizzle (and chilly weather) took some of the fun out of it. That being said, Kent our guide was outstanding, and after our vacation to GTNP, I asked my kids (14, 12, 9) what their favorite... More

It was cloudy the day we went so we weren't able to see the mountains but it still was fun. We saw lots of different birds and pronghorns. Matt and Owen had a lot of history to share about the valley. My kids, 10 & 11, loved it. The only thing that I didn't realize was that we didn't have... More

The Snake River float trip is an unique way to see the park. You depart on an old Army surplus type pontoon boat that has its own historic roots. As you float down the river you have the opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife....maybe not what you might expect, but there are lots of birds, plants, beaver impacts, to... More

Booked 6:45 am raft trip with the activities desk at Colter Bay. The trip is a scenic trip starting at Jackson Lake Lodge and going 10+ miles to Deadman's Bar on the river. This is not a whitewater excursion but a scenic and educational trip. Very nice rafting trip. We didn't see much wildlife though; saw a bald eagle, ducks,... More
