We barely made it on this tour, as it was the last day of the season. It was a lovely partly sunny day, and the tour guide was full of humor and information. The lake was like glass and the mountains are so close and so big there are no words to describe it. If you get a chance to... More

We choose to have a cruise to Elk Island for breakfast and we did not regret it! We started from Colter Bay Marina and on our way we saw a bold eagle. The captain stopped the boat so that everybody could take a photo. The breakfast is served outside (no house or shelter there, but restrooms - can´t tell how... More

For our first night in Grand Teton National Park, we decided to treat ourselves by taking this Dinner Lake Cruise. It is offered by the Grand Teton Lodge Company, which in turn is run by Vail Resorts, who really does things first class. This was no exception. We met at the Colter Bay Marina at 5:00 for a 5:30 departure.... More

Great time on the lake. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the food was a bonus. It lead us to renting kayaks early one ,morning and paddling around a portion of the lake where we saw a bear and a cub. Highly recommend.  More

We went on the breakfast cruise. Amazing. Took our two boys, ages 1 and 4, and we had such a great time! There were only 13 of us on the boat, but I guess that's a very small group, according to the Captain. He said they usually have two boats full. It was nice to have a small group. They... More

I am not a fan of getting up early, but since every one in our group wanted to try it, I agreed. It was spectacular and worth getting up early! We had to be at Colter Bay marina by 7 a.m. There were many families with young children, families with teenagers and youn adults and many couples. The cruise to... More

We had a great time on the Jackson Lake Dinner Cruise run by Grand Teton Lodge Company. The boat left the Marina about 5.30pm, in fact there were two boats that evening with a total of around 65 people. The seating is mostly inside but the large glass windows open to let a nice breeze in. The cruise proceeded across... More

After scouring the internet, I booked this cruise because I had read some comments that the boat trip on Jenny Lake, while less expensive was just a ferry ride. The float trips looked interesting but it was not an option for us because we were travelling with a 2 year old and 78 year old. This was a wonderful alternative.... More
