My husband and I took our kids and family on the breakfast cruise to Elk Island. It was a perfect day. The tour guide was young but obviously had done her research about the area. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything. She answered everyone's question without hesitation. Once on the island we were greeted by a wonderful staff that went... More

Our cruise around Colter Bay was marvelous. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They pointed out so much wildlife. We had a wonderful evening. The boat was large and comfortable. Not a bad seat on the boat.

Took breakfast cruise on lake Jackson. Chilly clear beautiful morning. Capt Ron and Katie were wonderful. Beautiful cruise around elk island where we docked and got off the boat for breakfast. And what a breakfast! Fresh fruit, Danish, yogurt, fresh scrambled eggs, the best pancakes ever, bacon and potatoes! Absolutely delish meal. Cowboy coffee brewed on campfire was wonderful. Nice... I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to see the Tetons and cruise Jackson Lake. The trip out to Elk Island is about 35 minutes long. If you want to get some history from your kind by all means stay inside the boat but I'd recommend sitting out the back and taking in the breathtaking beauty. No one sits... More

First the negative. As other reviewers have reported, this company has the administrative side completely screwed up. We filled out the waivers in advance and mailed them. Still had to do it over. We took the breakfast cruise. The narration was very good. This is something that you just take a chance on as it depends completely on the narrator.... More

We were eagerly looking forward to the Jackson Lake/Elk Island breakfast cruise during our recent visit to the Grand Tetons. We have been on this cruise several times before and always found it to be a delightful experience. This year proved to be a major disappointment. First of all there were two boats with a total of 75 people which... More

When you visit someplace like the Grand Tetons with Jackson lake virtually at the base of the mountains you have to get out on the water to really appreciate the views. Fortunately the Grand Teton Lodge Company makes it easy to do that by operating two cruise boats and a variety of tours. We opted for the evening lake cruise... More

While priced at $30 per adult and $13 per kid I wasn't sure what we were getting into. However we were all pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed getting to see a different view of the Tetons. We were able to step outside for better views and the captain stopped and circled back if something interesting was near the waters edge.

This review will be written in two parts because honestly, Part A does not deserve to be lumped in with Part B. Hopefully this is a management/communication issue, because the cruise itself is a wonderful experience and a lot of fun. Part A: I'll admit, I was a little miffed about the high price of this dinner cruise. When we... More

We did the Jenny lake morning cruise for about an hour. What seemed to be high price however turned out to be money well spent due to the enthusiasm of our lake guide, who was a fund in information about many aspects of The Grand Tetons, particularly aspects to do with boating, climbing and hiking. He operated as a climbing... More
