This was an awesome part of our trip! We met at the Colter Bay Marina and took a boat with Captain Brent and Thomasson out to Elk Island where we were greeted by the island supervisor, Harold. Seth and Travis were busy cooking our dinner. The dinner was FANTASTIC! Cowboy steaks, trout, fried potatoes, cowboy beans (best EVER!!), salad bar,... More

One of the highlights of our trip! Went on the breakfast cruise on a beautiful sunny cool morning. The scenery was beautiful and the crew informative. Good food also which included pancakes, eggs, trout, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit, and drinks. Had time after eating to walk down to the lake. Breathtaking! Would definitely do again, but maybe try the dinner... More

We picked the perfect evening for this trip and the scenery was breathtaking. 2 boats set off to Elk Island, with one going one way and the other the other way. There was an informative and interesting chat from our 1st mate on the way over and the journey took around 40 minutes. We moored and came ashore. The set... More

We've done this twice. Both times the employees were friendly, professional, knowledgeable about Jackson Lake, etc. Excellent food on Elk Island. This time we had an issue with mosquitoes, but that's nature.....had nothing to do with the dinner cruise people! Spectacular views.....can't be beat.

My husband and I took our kids and family on the breakfast cruise to Elk Island. It was a perfect day. The tour guide was young but obviously had done her research about the area. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything. She answered everyone's question without hesitation. Once on the island we were greeted by a wonderful staff that went... More

Our cruise around Colter Bay was marvelous. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They pointed out so much wildlife. We had a wonderful evening. The boat was large and comfortable. Not a bad seat on the boat.

Took breakfast cruise on lake Jackson. Chilly clear beautiful morning. Capt Ron and Katie were wonderful. Beautiful cruise around elk island where we docked and got off the boat for breakfast. And what a breakfast! Fresh fruit, Danish, yogurt, fresh scrambled eggs, the best pancakes ever, bacon and potatoes! Absolutely delish meal. Cowboy coffee brewed on campfire was wonderful. Nice... I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to see the Tetons and cruise Jackson Lake. The trip out to Elk Island is about 35 minutes long. If you want to get some history from your kind by all means stay inside the boat but I'd recommend sitting out the back and taking in the breathtaking beauty. No one sits... More

First the negative. As other reviewers have reported, this company has the administrative side completely screwed up. We filled out the waivers in advance and mailed them. Still had to do it over. We took the breakfast cruise. The narration was very good. This is something that you just take a chance on as it depends completely on the narrator.... More
