You might regret reserving in advance with this company as many things can happen on a vacation to the Grand Teton area that could keep you from making your scheduled tour. If you miss the tour, you will not get any refund period. Do not reserve the Grand Teton Scenic Tour from Colter Bay in advance. The GTLC will not... More

The day before our cruise it was rainy and very cold. It would later snow that night so it was extra nippy the next morning. We had to be at the marina at 7 am but boy was it worth it. A misty mountain view with a fresh blanket of snow covering the peaks. The lake was all misty due... More

Our family of 6 recently attended a so called dinner cruise. First, the employees and staff were wonderful. At a cost of $68 per person for Trout or Steak save your money and go to Jackson for dinner. You can get the same views by driving the road next to the Teton Mountain Range. The Island is remote with a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this narrated cruise on Jackson lake!! Beautiful 2 hour ride on a gorgeous sunny day surrounded by the Tetons! Sat outside most of the trip and got some amazing shots/videos!

On our summer vacation, this was the single most expensive activity we purchased. Initially I was regretting the purchase and thought seriously about cancelling our reservation. However, once we got started on the cruise boat, the Captain and First Mate were EXTREMELY cordial. They genuinely acted as though every guest was the most important person on their vessel. The trip... More

We so enjoyed our dinner cruise from Colter Bay. We gathered at 5:15 and arrived back about 8:00pm. The first mate and boat captain were kind and funny. They did a nice job of giving history and sharing interesting things about Jackson Lake and Grand Teton. We arrived on Elk Island to find that the chefs had been cooking all... More

From the same company we took an excellent raft trip the day before... This was a mess. The captain and the guide were far more interested in talking to each other than interacting with the passengers. I felt like we were tagging along on old mans boat. The guide decided not to use the microphone but was then annoyed that... More

We took the breakfast boat tour booked through Jackson Lake Lodge. The tour left from Colter's Bay to Elk Island. We had great weather. The captain entertained everyone with tales and historical facts of the park. The tales ranged from the early founders to Harrison Ford rescuing two stranded toursits on Mt. Moran. The best part of the trip was... More

This was an awesome part of our trip! We met at the Colter Bay Marina and took a boat with Captain Brent and Thomasson out to Elk Island where we were greeted by the island supervisor, Harold. Seth and Travis were busy cooking our dinner. The dinner was FANTASTIC! Cowboy steaks, trout, fried potatoes, cowboy beans (best EVER!!), salad bar,... More

One of the highlights of our trip! Went on the breakfast cruise on a beautiful sunny cool morning. The scenery was beautiful and the crew informative. Good food also which included pancakes, eggs, trout, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit, and drinks. Had time after eating to walk down to the lake. Breathtaking! Would definitely do again, but maybe try the dinner... More
