We woke up early due to jet lag and drove up the road at 6am when the sun was still rising. We saw a bear cub by the side of the road and lots of birds and little animals. We were the only people at the summit when we got there and the views were great!

There is almost a 360 view of the surrounding area of the valley and the Tetons. In the fall during late August and September while the Elk are in rut. You can sit on the summit and hear the Bull Elks bugle. It is a awesome sound as it echos across the valley. Not a bad drive up the mountain... More

We drove to the end of the road and found that the best vantage point was at the lower outlook. We hiked in a little way and found an excellent view to photograph the mountain range and lake from. Stunning view!

A good place to go with expansive views of the park without needing to hike. If looking for a better view of the Tetons, the scenic loop drive is better, particularly Schwabacher Landing. Lots of mosquitoes on the mountain, so go prepared.

Talk about hairpin turns! The signs say to be aware of pedestrians and bicyclists sharing the road, but 'turns' out, the danger is in on-coming traffic driving into your lane on the blind turns! Once at the top, the views are expansive and really make you feel small in the face of the river, plains and mountains surrounding you. Additionally... More

Signal Mountain is a 7727’ peak accessible via Signal Mountain Road, just south of the turnout for Signal Mountain Lodge near the Jackson Lake Junction. It’s about a 4-mile (one-way) drive, and you go up, up, up to a fantastic overlook with a superb view of the Snake River valley. Along the way there’s another turnout that offers a view... More

The drive to the top is a little scary but the views of the Grand Tetons, the valley and the lakes are amazing. Even in late may there were swarms of mosquitoes so take your bug spray. Here you get a 360 view

It seemed like it took forever to reach the top of this overlook- but when you get there, it is so worth it! We saw this on our last day- and we definitely saved the best for last! You have a great panoramic view of the whole area. It's a must see, that we almost blew off- glad we didn't....

Try to get up here early in the morning to avoid the rush. We actually got behind and idiot in a huge RV (which are forbidden on this road), who, when he got to the top and the small parking lot had absolutely no idea how to turn around. He's probably still up there.

Tremendous views once you get to the top. It is described as "narrow roads with no turnarounds" which made us a bit wary at first, but there is not problem. The road is plenty wide and paved all the way up so it is fine for any kind of vehicle. Not much else to say since it is simply a... More
