We only drove from Moose to Jenny Lake but still got to see some incredible views! The road runs right along the base of the Tetons which puts their large size into perspective. There are plenty of turn-offs to take pictures. Go early in the morning for a calmer experience as it gets more crowded later in the day.

If you’re driving through and not headed for Yellowstone then save the $$ and drive on the public highway; you will pass plenty of scenic pull-outs. If you are headed for Yellowstone then for no added cost you can take an extra hour or two to amble along the picturesque park road including leisurely stops at all the marked vantage... More

This road has lots of good viewpoints of the Tetons and of Jackson Lake, especially at the dam. There is also a cycle path along much of the route.

The views on this drive are spectacular. We were there in mid June and actually had snow fall on the 14th. It was amazing and the views of the mountain range with the snow falling was unforgetable. Use the pull-outs to see the range at it's best and stop to smell the wild flowers as they are in abundance.

We were blessed with a sunny, crystal clear morning and took this road. Going north, you turn left at Moose Jct. and proceed through the park entrance fee gates to enter a world of stunning views that slowly change to reveal new configurations of the mountains. We stopped frequently at the many turnouts, and were richly rewarded. Take it slow,... More

This was one of the most beautiful drives we took on our trip through Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The reflection of the mountains on Jackson and Jenny lakes is awesome. If you miss the turn off for this section of the park, turn around.

I have decided that the Grand Teton National Park rates as one of the most beautiful places in the world. I thought Switzerland was gorgeous but the Tetons are better. It rates right up there with Denali and Yosemite. The drive by the lakes and meadows all below those beautiful Tetons is unforgettable.

Picnic areas and overlooks abound. Cyclists have to be careful in some areas but other parts have their own cycle paths. We enjoyed picnicking by the lake. The Tetons are photogenic from any angle.

We saw mule deer and elk on this beautiful scenic drive. Loved it and consider this a must do when visiting.

Go early in the morning when the air is still and see the awesome sight of the mountains reflected in the lake. Maybe if you are lucky you will see deer or elk getting a drink of this cold clear water.
