Despite the shocking weather when we were there, we got some glimpses of the majestic Tetons. Stunning. We were also astounded by the diverse wildlife we spotted easily from the road. Elk, osprey, owls and black bears (including one 25 metres from our RV campsite!). Disappointingly we had to skip our planned Jenny Lake visit. Visibility too poor, rain to... More

Snow capped mountains, glacial lakes, pine forests, and animals galore. All this in a mere 15 miles---go slow, stop at the many turnouts for awesome photo ops , and be alert as a bear may be lurking in them thar' woods!!!

What is there to say...this is the road that goes through one of the most beautiful parks in US. You will see wildlife, you will see grand mountains, you will see meadows, rivers, forest etc.

This phenomenally beautiful road takes you passed Jackson and Jenny Lakes...what could be better than that? We loved the pullouts, with striking views, some with display and read boards for interesting Teton-related facts and stories. There are food and restroom stops at Jenny Lake and the Visitor's Center. It's free and worth the effort Don't miss it!

Remember to ask the tourist information why it is called Teton Park. And if you know French you'll already know this! Which had us in stitches when we found out. the views are brilliant and plentiful, well worth staying to watch the sun rise or fall. or both. a good place before Yellowstone.

Teton Park Road is off the main drive thru and a beautiful trek by Lake Jackson & Jenny Lake. We bought the America the Beautiful Park Pass for our 3 weeks in the north & west. The Grand Teton National Park is by far one of the most beautiful of all we visited.

It is well worth getting off the main highway to take in the views from this slower paced road. It takes you along Jackson and Jenny Lakes, which provide a beautiful foreground to the mountains. At Windy Point turnout, near Moose Junction, there were several herds of elk to watch.

Teton Park Road is the road closer to the mountain range with all the lodges and hiking and parking off of it. Coming up from Jackson Hole, you have to turn left at Moose Juction to get on it. Straight takes you furthur away from the best spots, but it does make for a nice loop you can do through... More

It is a beautiful drive. Surrounded by those large mountains. Makes you just think and ponder how the early settlers made it on wagons. Amazing. Be sure to watch for wildlife. Our friends saw two bears. We saw Eagles.

Just spectacular scenery. Drive slow and enjoy the view and look for wildlife. Don't miss Mormon village.
