What wonderful views and feelings of quiet and freedom! The 20-mile stretch of paved and separated-from-the-road multi-use/bike pathway connecting the town of Jackson with Jenny Lake and completed in 2012 is dedicated to the memory of Gabriella Axelrad, a 13-year-old bicyclist who died near Jenny Lake in 1999. High-visibility clothing and helmets aren't enough protection against inattentive drivers, but those... More

Touring anywhere in the Grand Tetons in late September, early October reveals a treat at each bend of the road. Whether you are seeking wildlife of any type or just enjoying the incredible array of fall colors, take plenty of time to travel all the roads in the park. Yes, it might take some time to see a moose, bison,... More

Saw an Elk herd, Buffalo herd and Pronghorn Antelope. Pay attention to the speed on the roads. We had a Buffalo step right out into the road in front of our car.

It's amazing how many animals we saw just from our car along this road. Eagles , antelope , bison, moose, elk, deer. Plus the views are breathtaking. This is an easy way to experience nature.

We left Yellowstone and passed by Grand Teton along the way to Salt Lake City. Magnificent views of snow-capped mountains, and there are many pull-outs for photo opps along the way. Highly recommended.

The Teton Park Road is very pleasant with good vista's of the Teton's and also it leads you to Jenny Lake Visitor Center. You can take a boat tour onto Jenny Lake from there. I recommend.

We only drove from Moose to Jenny Lake but still got to see some incredible views! The road runs right along the base of the Tetons which puts their large size into perspective. There are plenty of turn-offs to take pictures. Go early in the morning for a calmer experience as it gets more crowded later in the day.

If you’re driving through and not headed for Yellowstone then save the $$ and drive on the public highway; you will pass plenty of scenic pull-outs. If you are headed for Yellowstone then for no added cost you can take an extra hour or two to amble along the picturesque park road including leisurely stops at all the marked vantage... More

This road has lots of good viewpoints of the Tetons and of Jackson Lake, especially at the dam. There is also a cycle path along much of the route.
