Go early in the morning when the air is still and see the awesome sight of the mountains reflected in the lake. Maybe if you are lucky you will see deer or elk getting a drink of this cold clear water.
There are two main roads through Grand Teton- the outer route (Highways 26/89/191) which offer some decent turnouts with commanding views of the Tetons rising out of the prairie landscape, and the Grand Teton Park Road which gives you exceptional closeups of this magnificent mountain range. This is great to do with family or just couples. See the pristine mountain lakes, wild flowers, wild life and the stunning Teton snow capped mountain range rising majestically before you. Take the 42 mile loop drive, stop at Jenny Lake. Enjoy!
We spent so much time on this road since we stopped at most scenic turnouts, and we stopped so often because they always seemed to be worth it. Beautiful Park that is served very well by this Road!

We have lived in Wyoming 30 years. Every time we see the Tetons it is the most beautiful sight. This year we saw 4 grizzly s, wow! The wild flowers have been spectacular this year.
Well maintained park road. National park service map is a big help. Beautiful scenery specially in the morning sun. Best part is they have approaching signs before the actual point of interest.
