Very much enjoyed Teton Park Road (didn't do the loop since we were going one-way). Lots of nice pull-outs. In the summer, I would suggest trying to get there earlier in the morning because if afternoon clouds roll in, it washes out your photos.

Gorgeous easy drive. Not crowded at all, felt very calm and relaxing compared to hustle and bustle of Yellowstone.

This drive is worth it even if it's all you have time for. Our main stop was Yellowstone, but we were so glad we came up through Jackson and drove the Teton Park Road. The Tetons have their own unique beauty in the western US, and they are different than anything you will experience in Yellowstone. There is a nice... More

We took Teton Park Road from Moose up to Jenny Lake - so incredibly stunning! Get a good vista view of the whole range :)

Teton Park Road from Teton Village to Moose (asphalt and dirt) was a good place to drive to see wildlife (we spotted a moose, otter, osprey and mule deer) and not all that long (12 miles or so). Speed is not a big problem although they don't provide a lot of areas to pull off the road to observe the... More

This road was our route through the park to get to Moose, WY. Long winding road, paved part of the way and dirt the rest. Saw lots of wildlife. Passes by ranches with herds of horses and cattle. Very scenic. The speed limit gets up to about 35mph. Can be very slow if you get behind a slow driver. It... More

As for other roads in this park – classic NPS road design, aimed to bring out as much of the beautiful scenery as possible. I wonder how such a road might be designed and built now, as compared with its original design. We have more tools (imagery and computer rendering) – but could we use those tools to make a... More

The Teton Park road is very tourist friendly. There are tons of turnouts so that you never miss a view of the tetons or wildlife and there is information all along the way.

There are two Main roads. One goes south from Moran Junction to Jackson Hole. It is the one that gets you places, not very scenic and the day speed is 55 mph. The other road goes west from south of Jackson Lake Lodge. It winds over the dam, takes you to Signal Mountain and to Jenny Lake area. It gets... More

We have been up and down the Teton Park Road 5 or 6 times now and it ceases to amaze us. There are more things to see and do in the park than most people would ever have time for. You can cruise the road, pull out at the scenic views, or get off the beaten path for a stroll... More
