I have hiked around most of the trails in this area because they clear from snow early and make for good day hikes. They are not spectacular but good short hikes with plenty of good wildlife, wild flowers, and some good spots for photos of the tetons with Jackson Lake in the foreground. More

We stayed at the nearby... More

Spacious and quiet RV sites at Colter Bay RV Park. We stayed for 4 nights. Great picnic areas along Jackson Lake, beautiful sunset. Enjoyed the marina area and a boat ride on my sister and hubby's boat on Jackson Lake. BEAUTIFUL scenery! More

We rented two boats here and took them out for the minimum of 2 hours. We could have staid out all day and just watched the scenery go by. You can do the entire loop in 2 hours if you don't make any stops. Personally, if the kids were not around, we would have cut the engine and just laid... More

We toured the Pacific Northwest this summer with our family starting In Seattle and then across Washington through Idaho, Montana and then down to Yellowstone and then through the Grand Tetons. The Grand Tetons provided the most majestic views of our entire trip. We spend the night in one of the cabins at Colter Bay Village. Even though it was... More

We stayed in the Colter Bay Village cabins two years ago, we had a great visit. On this trip, we elected to try the Jackson Lake Lodge cottages, a very short drive away. We love the Colter Bay Village area and ate a meal, used the laundry area, drove around and saw the elk walking around in Colter Bay on... More

I have just returned from visiting this lovely park in early July. Colter Bay Village is one of the beautiful villages located within the Grand Tetons National Park. It is the first village area you arrive at when you enter from the north (end of Yellowstone). The drive from Yellowstone to Grand Teton is stunning, truly majestic. Colter Bay Village... More
