Excellent view and great breakfast. Colter Bay village is a great stopping point if you are on your way to Yellowstone or looking to get a great spot in Grand Teton National Park. You can also get a great breakfast buffet. You can rent boats, canoes or whatever if you are looking to enjoy the lake.

We stayed for one night at the Colter Bay Cabins. They are cute log cabins on the outside, and are charming inside, but the bathrooms are disgusting. We payed over $200 for one night and the bathroom was a throwback to the 1960s. I understand we are in a National Park, but the sink handle was moldy, the faucet would... More

We recently made our first RV trip to the Tetons and stayed at Colter Bay Village. What a beautiful park!! The views we had with just a short walk from our motor home were breathtaking! We camped under pine and cedar trees and the fresh smell was wonderful. We would go back here in a heartbeat if we could!

I camped in J -184 spot for Disable persons and just loved it. The spot was clean, well designed for my needs and inside of this beautiful park. Activities and a store were close by. The staff was beyond wonderful, polite and attentive. The camp contractor nailed it here.

Took the nature trail the follows along the bay, it is an easy walk. We were able to sit and watch a beaver in the water, during sunset.

We had a 34 ft camper and stayed on site 109 of the campground with full hook up. We had plenty of room for the camper and or rental car. One thing you should know is that on our particular site there was no camp fire ring. It was ok because we enjoyed the beach and went to the evening... More

The whole village is full of amenities yet it is not overdeveloped: from miles of easy walking trails to a horse riding stable to a Marina with a cruise on the lake, camping with or without hook ups to rustic cottages, this place has it all. But a lesser-known attraction is the picnic area to the north end of the... More

We have stayed here several times and enjoyed the area. It is a nice central place with various facilities as dining, laundry, gift shop, store. It seems more family oriented than other parts of the park. You can make arrangements for boat tours etc that depart in the area. There are easy trails to hike that start here If planning... More
