Nice Village

The village was filled with a store, visitor center, and restaurants. The store had reasonable prices and was half grocery and half gift shop. Plenty of merchandise in both.

We drove from West Yellowstone to the Tetons and stopped at Colter Village along the way. This is quite an enterprise from campground, to store, Visitor's Center, boat ramp, gas, groceries, horseback riding, laundry, hiking trails and on and on. A destination fro many folks as the lake is a major draw. We found everyone very friendly, but was there... More

The cabins are very quaint and the setting is superb but...everything could have been cleaner. The cabin was musty and the bathroom just a bit dingy. The restaurant service was great but the food a bitter disappointment. The tables and restrooms should have been cleaner.

There are stores, restaurants, etc. here as well as lodging. The visitor center is quite nice with displays and a film with topical information. The staff is very knowledgeable and informative. There is also a nice gift shop with very knowledgeable clerks.

Stayed two nights in a cabin. It was roomy with two double(or queen?) beds and a twin bed. Beds were comfy also. The bathroom was roomy and had a walk in shower. No air conditioner but we opened the windows and was fine and cool. Was nice to wake to birds singing! Requested no room service and was given a... More

Get out of Yellowstone and visit the easy, slow life of Grand Teton Park. The staff at the campground, store and food places are great, you will meet folks from all over the world. Campground is nicely wooded and smells great, we even had a fox visit our campsite.

The Grand Tetons are beautiful and a great place to visit. Most sites are pull-through and have sewer, water and electricity. There is no internet, ATT cellphones only work outside and that was not 100% of the time and no tv/cable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A shower was $4.25, the laundry was okay. Funny how some people... More

My husband and I travelled here in June of 2013. It was one of the last stops on a very long road trip, but I gotta say, it was one of the best! We spent the night in one of the log cabins, and while it was a bit rustic, it was just what we wanted. The power went out... More

We hired a RV to travel from Idaho to Yellowstone, and stopped here as part of the trip. This was by far the highlight of my visit, the view from the campground of the mountains and lake was stunning. I wish I had known in advance as I would have preferred to stay longer. It was the best campground we... More

I have come back to this place for more years then I can think of. The cabins are a bit rustic but that is the charm about them. They are clean the water is hot in the showers and the smell of the pine just outside your door is wonderful. My children from when they were young till after college... More
