You begin to repeat yourself when trying to describe the beauty of these 9 points on the Western rim shuttle tour. What you need to know is one shuttle takes you to Hermits Rest via stops at each of the nine points. The return bus stops at three points only: Pima, Mohave and Powell. So be aware of how to... Definitely go here to see the sunset. Take the Red line to this point and the bus will pick you up at Powell Point just .3 miles away.

There you are, in the Grand Canyon's south rim. Where do you go for a memorable sunset? Hopi Point, that's where! Word to the wise, you cannot drive there. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the Visitor Center (Blue Line) to the Red Line junction. Walk about 50 feet to catch the Red Line bus to Hopi... More

Take the red bus to Hopi point at experience one of the great sunsets - when the cliffs are turning red and the shadows longer.

We hiked part of the rim and watched the sunset from Hopi point - Do yourself a favor and get off the red bus one stop early at Powell point and hike the short easy gravel hike to Hopi Point - great views you won't see otherwise.

This is known as THE place to view sunset. There is a free and very regular (every 10 minutes) bus service from the station in the grand canyon village to and from Hopi point around the sun set hours. It also a great view point during other hours of the day. Then the free shuttle bus runs ever 30 minutes... More

I've been to the Grand Canyon more times than I can remember. Living in Arizona means taking several trips to the Canyon when visitors are in town.
