Great place to go to see the sunset. Took the red shuttle bus to this location to view the sunset. It is recommended to get there at least a half hour before sunset to see the amazing colors over the canyon. Loved it!

Witness the Grand Canyon at it's finest. To access the point ride the bus from the Village Transfer station or take a walk out there, the latter being the hardest,

It was very nice to view the Canyon from a different angle, if you have the time, then it is worth the drive.

Hopi Point is one of the free shuttle stops along the Hermit Road. The point juts out into the canyon more than the others so you get panoramic views of the scenery. Almost straight across the canyon is a butte with a black number 7 near the top, it's visible with the naked eye. Maybe it stands for one of... More

The bus driver said Hopi Point was the best spot to watch the sunset and I think he was right! We grabbed the bus at the railroad station and rode out to HP. We waited about 1/2 for the show to begin. what a spectacular setting. There is a stone wall to sit on that is a bit away from... More

This is one of the best places to get a great panoramic view of the canyon, as such it also tends to get crowded...so get there early!

More great views of the stunning Grand Canyon. Part of the rim trail, it's an easy walk from the visitor centre - and links to the red bus shuttle service.

If you want to take a short Hike this is a good choice, you can always take the bus there or back as well (in summer). This is good for the sunset, but better to go further to Mohave Point.

My husband and I walked from The Abyss to Hopi point and we thought Hopi Point had better views than The Abyss. Hopi Point has a wider viewing range and you can see more colors in the canyon than we could at The Abyss. We of course stopped and took many pictures which turned out great. I highly recommend going... More
