The bus driver said Hopi Point was the best spot to watch the sunset and I think he was right! We grabbed the bus at the railroad station and rode out to HP. We waited about 1/2 for the show to begin. what a spectacular setting. There is a stone wall to sit on that is a bit away from... More

This is one of the best places to get a great panoramic view of the canyon, as such it also tends to get crowded...so get there early!

More great views of the stunning Grand Canyon. Part of the rim trail, it's an easy walk from the visitor centre - and links to the red bus shuttle service.

If you want to take a short Hike this is a good choice, you can always take the bus there or back as well (in summer). This is good for the sunset, but better to go further to Mohave Point.

My husband and I walked from The Abyss to Hopi point and we thought Hopi Point had better views than The Abyss. Hopi Point has a wider viewing range and you can see more colors in the canyon than we could at The Abyss. We of course stopped and took many pictures which turned out great. I highly recommend going... More

This is one of the stops along the Hermit's Rest Trail and is also one of the most popular spots to see the sunset. Everybody knows that so expect a crowd there. But you don't need to congregate with the crowd right at the shuttle stop. Just walk 50 yards further along the rim. You'll still see essentially what they're... More

Will never forget the sights you see. Spectacular. Keep an eye on the kids, but stare with disbelief. Almost does not look real.

We reached hopi point, just before the sunset and with the cold wave settling in after a exhausting summer noon. . We could see the dramatic sunset and the color changes over the Canyon. . One of the best views of Canyon and probably the most visited point by guests. Would encourage people to visit at dusk or dawn to... More

Good place to watch the Sunset. The little "shuttles" will drop you out to the point and pick you up again.
