Absolutely beautiful! If you get the opportunity get up early in the middle of the night and take the first bus to Hopi Point for witnessing one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever see.

This is where I chose to set up my camera for several progressive sunset shots. I went in the early afternoon to choose the point where I wanted to take my sunset shot, went again a bit later, after scoping out all of the other options, and chose my spot before all of the other people arrived to do the... Hopi house is trading post but in front the local tribesmen often put on excellent dance routines from their heritage with traditional music and song.

Unless you are a true outdoors man, in which case you probably wouldn't spend time stopping to see this 'monument', you should ride the shuttle bus. You can always ride it out here then bike back. This is what I did. There is really nothing to it; it is a hermits house that has been updated to include gift shop... More

A lot of people come... More

Absolutely one of our favorite spots we stopped at. The views are just spectacular. Get out and relax at Hopi Point and just take it all in. Amazing!

Great place to view the sunset from. Majestic canyons all around reminding you of how puny each of us are. How does 6 million years compare to our brief stay on earth.

After hiking Bright Angel Trail in the morning, we hopped onto the shuttle on the red route (Hermit's Rest) and stopped at several points to see different perspectives of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the views at Maricopa Point ... walked to Powell Point (0.5 mile) where they have a memorial for Major John Powell... continued walking to Hopi Point... More

View of Canyon. Looked like carvings while all these are natural. It's preserved well and Rangers were there to answer your questions.
