I selected Wildland for a Havasupai falls trek based on excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. Our guide, Avianna, was great, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tents, pads, sleeping bags were all in great condition and appropriate for the trip. I wish I had inquired more about food and drink. I fully expected to be self sufficient except for the main... I am not even sure where to begin- we were dusty, we wore the same clothing nearly everyday, we hauled heavy packs in blazing heat at nearly 10,000, my body was fatigued at a level I never experienced and we pooped in the woods. It was THE.BEST.WEEK.OF.MY.LIFE! Honestly, this experience was truly amazing. Everything was great: the gear, the locations,... More

My husband and I signed up for the Rim to Rim tour based on the feedback on Wildland Trekking from Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed and can agree with the many great reviews that this is a top notch company to travel with. Our guide, Avi, was spectacular. She was knowledgable, fun and made our trip enjoyable. Words cannot... More

I just returned from the 5 day Yellowstone base camp tour. I have to say that I had an awesome and incredible trip. I want to thank both Zoe and Dean for all their help, support and professionalism. Wildland should be honored to have them as employees and that they represent a company that truly cares about the customer. They... More

We could not have asked for a better experience. It challenged us physically and constantly rewarded us with the magic and relentless beauty of the Canyon. Last day was a tough hike out but made it all that much more rewarding to complete. Our guide Ben did a wonderful job taking care of everyone's needs and kept a good positive... More

I booked a 3 day Grand Canyon hiking trip with Wildland Trekking and they delivered an exceptional experience. The pre-tour briefing was clear and comprehensive and the gear we were given was of very good quality. Our guide Zack did a tremendous job of looking after everyone, given that the group consisted of hikers of different ages and abilities. He... More

Had a wonderful 5 days in Rocky Mt. National Park with Joy Menet in August. She had a wonderful way of bringing strangers together into a caring and fun group of hiking partners. Joy quickly assessed our abilities and paced our hikes so we challenged ourselves and enjoyed the experience too. The scenery was incredible, we saw lots of wildlife,... More

I have two experiences to share about Wildland Trekking. In summary though, I highly recommend this company if you want to go backpacking in beautiful areas with the assistance of a guide. Both the standardized trips and customized trips are reasonably priced and are a great value. Truly a wonderful experience in nature! First story involves excellent customer service. Back... More

Ian masterfully guided us (6 girlfriends, all 50-somethings) over the Continental Divide with good humor, great patience and excellent food. Wrapped a sprained ankle with great proficiency and helped fend off incipient blisters. Highly recommended! (Only complaint would be quality of rented sleeping bags - even though rated to 20 degrees, it took every thread of packed clothing to sleep... More

We had a life changing experience. Visiting the grand canyon is one thing..... Hiking it was a total different experience. Thank God we found WILDLAND. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative and most of all caring. I hiked with my 15 year old twin daughters and he made the experience for a lifetime. I felt so comfortable knowing that...
