My husband and I did a winter rim to rim to rim hike with Wildland Trekking and it was such an incredible experience. Not only were our guides extremely informative but they provided us with delicious meals and snacks 24/7 and continuously worked to make sure we were all comfortable and ok. They also provided us with all the essential... More

I was going to hike to the bottom of the canyon myself, but rather than haul hiking equipment with me from Australia, I decided to go on a guided two night hike (6 - 8 Dec 2014). I also didn't have time to go through all the solo hiking options and this was just easy. You don't have to be... More

This was an amazing experience! We were a little apprehensive going below the rim at the Grand Canyon with snow on the ground;we are a family of five and none of us is an experienced hiker. Our guide, Drew, made this an unforgettable experience. He packed our lunches and snacks, outfitted us with all the gear we needed as far... More

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 day hike down to Phantom Ranch in mid-December. Given the cooler weather, there were few people on the trail, and it was as if we had the canyon to ourselves! There were 3 of us on the trip, in addition to our excellent and very pleasant guide, Jill. What a great way to... More

My family of 5 just finished 3 day hikes with Wildland Trekking. Each of our guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and added different insights each day. The hikes were challenging and a lot of fun. The views of the canyon in the wintertime are amazing. We are now looking forward to hiking rim to rim to rim... More

My husband and I did the 3 day Phantom Ranch Tour in December, 2014. It was even more special than we hoped it would be. Our guides, Michael and Betsy couldn't have been better. Their enthusiasm and respect for this incredible place was contagious. They were professional, knowledgeable, interesting, safety conscious, and fun. We loved it.

My Husband and I did a two night, three day trek in the South rim of the Grand Canyon towards the end of October. We spent 5 weeks on the West Coast of America and hands down this was the ultimate highlight of our trip. Our guide was Ron and we had 3 other trekkers in our group. We were... More

I did a Wildland trip with my parents in may 2014. We spent 3 nights out in the escalante national monument in Utah. The whole trip was incredible! Our guide was helpful and wonderful, our journey was beautiful and rewarding, and the entire experience was truly amazing. I hope to go on another Wildland trip again soon, and would recommend... Fantastic trip with great company and an accomplished guide who humoured us the whole way despite our dreadful singing ( necessary distraction going up hill at times). Food is brilliant including a turkey dinner the week before Thanksgiving. Quite strenuous but very rewarding and quite manageable if you do the training and break in your boots before hand. Views are... More

I joined a 4 day 3 night trek into the Canyon on the New Hance Loop. From the very beginning the service provided by Wildland Trekking was second to none! No detail was forgotten and every question or concern I had was dealt with immediately. Our guides, Myriam and Cody were fantastic! They catered to us as if we were... More
