Our experience with Wildland Trekking Co. started with signing up for the trip. We chose to go in April and signed up the previous October. Our destination was Havasu Falls and we chose to go with a group. To prepare for the hike, we went on weekly hikes near our home for about six weeks prior to departure, extending the... More

Our group of 5 had a wonderful experience using Wildland Trekking. The Guide, Stefan Ballek was very professional and knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon history, geology, flora and fauna. Plus he cooked up some great meals and provided motivation when needed. I would highly recommend Stefan if you are interested in hiking the Grand Canyon.

I went on a 4 day Havasupai mule assisted trip to Havasupai falls. The scenery is just spectacular and Wildland Trekking made the whole experience easy and fun. Our group consisted of 12 people and we were all well matched with our hiking skills. I think Wildland tries to match similar age or hiking ability when making up the groups.... More

Backpacked with my two adult sons for 6 days in the Grand Canyon off of the N Rim with Wildland Trekking as our guides. It was a 6 day / 5 night loop trek. It was outstanding! I have been backpacking since college (a long time ago) and have been on other guided backpacking trips - this was the best.... More

I made a great decision to go with Wildland Trekking for my 5 day Grand Canyon Hermit Loop Trail trip in May 2015. From the first phone call gathering info, to the final bus ride back to my hotel from the Grand Canyon, this was a well organized top notch experience. As a seasoned backpacker from New England, I knew... More

Hiked/camped Cremation Canyon with a side trip to Phantom Ranch. This trip is great for solo, friends or couples. There is something for everyone and the limited group sized was perfect. It was a challenging hike, but so worth it!!

My wife and I recently visited the Grand Canyon for the first time. We decided that if we're going to be there we should go on an organized hike. I made all the arrangements over the internet with Wildland Trekking. We were extremely happy with the hike and the guide, Jayci. Wildland staff were excellent communicators. They answered all our... This trip was awesome!! Seamus was our guide and he was extremely knowledgable about the land. We had an awesome time hanging out with our group and he cooked us AWESOME food. Pedro pasta, pancakes, stir-fry etc. This was my first time hiking and my experience has led me to want to hike more!

Wow, what an amazing experience. There is no way to explain the GC, you just have to go and experience it. This was a backpacking trip, we carried all our gear (tent, sleeping bag, mat, and a portion of the food), so be fit if you choose this hike! Our guide Myriam was amazing and really added to the experience... More

Seth was a great guild, full of laughs and tales of adventures that he has been on around the world. The Mount. Sterling trip takes you to two summits and they were hard to climb but well worth it. The air is fresh the rivers are clear and the forest is magnificent on the four day trip. This is a... More
