We had a group of four adults over the age of 50 but younger than 60 take a hike with The Wildland Trekking Company in February, 2015. Not only was the scenery spectacular, but the guide, Elaine, was splendiferous!! She adjusted her gait to ours and was a complete joy to hike with. We spent several hours trekking the rim... More

North rim to South rim. Very professional organisation: transport, guides and gear spot on. Four days north to south is a very nicely paced trip No long days and time to stop and smell the flowers. The paths are basically mule tracks, so the grade is always easy (but constant). Just watch out for the mules! The camp sites are... More

I've gone on two different tours with Wildland Trekking Company, Grand Canyon and best of Utah. Both trips were absolutely incredible and experiences I will never forget. The guides were very professional and amazing cooks. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone; if fact, I'm planning my third trip later this year.

We did a 3 night Havasu trip over spring break with our kids ages 10,12,15. Everything was well-organized and it was WONDERFUL to have all of the great things about camping, without ANY of the work or pre-trip planning. The guides took care of setting up tents, meals, gear...everything. We just showed up and HIKED!

It may be over two years ago but I think of my 4 day holiday to the Havasu Falls again and again, and I am saving up to travel with WTC again in the future. They are so well organised and professional, you are in safe hands no matter what your age or what you are doing. I could fault... More

My friend and I did the three day Havasu trip in the Grand Canyon. Our guides were awesome and the whole operation was very professionally organized and run. Not to mention Havasu was truly a special place to visit.

If you are looking for solitude and a glimpse of the canyon lands untouched the Kanab Creek trip is the best. Chris took us all the way from the north rim to the river over a week and was brilliant. Stunning, challenging, real adventure!

I was a bit concerned when the trip started as snow was on the forecast, and I didn't want to end up slipping and sliding down the slopes. Jill, our guide, was quick to reassure me that she had trekking poles and crampons for us. In fact, it turned out that the snow provided for some unusual views... though we... More

My friend and went on the Havasupi trip. Neither of us does much hiking or camping. It was awesome! We didn't have to worry about gear. They gave us great information about what to pack ahead of time, so packing was straight forward. They cooked us fabulous meals, which we help prep (that was actually a lot of fun and... More

I was part of a diverse group of friends and family ranging in age from 28 to 73, and in backpacking experience from zero to expert, who hiked the Canyon from North to South Rim. It was the finest and most memorable hiking experience my husband and I have ever had--we saw bighorn sheep, condors, and a chuckwalla; the night... More
