First time in Grand Canyon and made the great investment of hiring a guide for a 6 hour hike to the skeleton point inside the canyon. I can go on and on about the excellence, knowledge and high level of professionalism and true passion for the area that my guide Shayne Hall provided, but it' something that you have to... More

First of all there's no topping the Grand Canyon for nature, beauty, geological history and as an attraction. We hiked with Shayne who was full of information and fascinating bits... from history to geology to trivia to fascinating bits about things that have transpired in the Canyon, people who have hiked and run it, people who live in the Canyon... I just came back from a 5-day guided hiking trip to the Grand Canyon (Hermit Loop). My experience was great for the most part due to the fact that we used an excellent company (Wildland Trekking). Our guide, Myriam Bishop, was very professional and experienced. She not only put a lot of emphasis in our safety throughout the trip but... More

Trip of a lifetime! I did the four-day, three-night backpacking trip from the North rim of the Grand Canyon to the South rim (start and end in Flagstaff) in October 2015. Been meaning to write this review ever since because it was such an amazing trip and I was really glad I went with Wildland. My tour guide, Ryan, was... More

I joined Wildland Trekking for the Grand Canyon and Havasu Falls trips in Autumn 2015. The staff was very professional and respectful of the environment, they explained us how to remain so ourselves - towards nature and people of the Indian village we crossed. The meeting on the day before the trip helped us get completely prepared and aware of... More

This trip was stunning and just the adventure I was looking for! The 6 days of hiking with packs provided physical challenge but the scenery was mesmerizing and it was easy to forget the sore muscles. Our guide Myriam ensured our group was well prepared, safe, and especially well fed! She has great knowledge of the Grand Canyon as well... More

Wildland Trekking organized a great trip with excellent gear. They provided encouragement leading up to the trip to be in shape for this strenuous hike. Each leg of the hike welll thought our. Our guide, Myriam, was excellent local knowledge, great camping skills and a great cook. I couldn't have hoped for a better vacation and life long memories.

My mom, my brother and I braved the 7 degree freezing temperature and snowy conditions to go meet our guide Crystal at 8am on the South Rim. My mom was extremely nervous and anxious about descending into the Grand Canyon with the current conditions, but upon meeting and speaking with Crystal, all of her stress vanished. Crystal came prepared with... More

We had a blast. Our guide (Crystal) was awesome...informative, incredibly knowledgeable about the GC in all aspects (geology, history, funny stories, etc) and safety conscious. The pre-trip "bring these items" was spot on. Phantom Ranch was perfect. After long all day hikes, a bed, warm shower and hearty meal make all the difference. This trip has definitely inspired us to... More

We did the 3 day/2 night Grand Canyon Classic trip. First of all, our guide Stephan Ackley was awesome. He was very knowledgeable of camping, hiking, and the canyon itself. He was patient as we were first time hikers, did the cooking, and did the heavy lifting (his backpack was way heavier than ours). The meeting the night before was... More
