I took a trip with my 5 year old daughter, we were on the newer helicopter the Eco something or other. We had requested the front seats. We got there early due to driving from Flagstaff and didn't want to miss ended up almost 2 hours early. Which was a good thing because at first we went to the wrong... More

Took a 30 minute flight over the North Rim. Matt was our pilot & tour guide. He explained certain detail about the canyon as we flew over & around. It was breath taking! Our entire family sat there speechless because the views were so spectacular! It was almost spiritual. We took awesome video & still shots while in the helicopter.... More

Booked this just the day before, and had no problems with that. Chose this place because the prices seemed lowest. We took the $200 tour on the older helicopter. We got there about 1 hour early, and they took us right in earlier than our reservation. The guy at the front, and most of the other employees, herded us around... More

We chose this trip based on a blogger's recommendation and, boy, was he right! If you only have a day or a little more to explore the Grand Canyon, this gives you the full experience: flying over the canyon in the morning, followed by a visit to Antelope Canyon, and then smooth river rafting down Colorado River for the remainder... We were able to make the reservation less than 24 hours in advance- it was a breeze! We were greeted upon arrival and quickly checked in. We even ended up on an earlier flight! Safety is taken seriously and I felt I was in good hands. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the narration that played during the... More

Got reservations at the IMAX in Tusayan, easy. Airport is close to Tusayan, go to red building 30 minutes before the 30 minute ride. Six in copter, great pilot, off we go, and the rest is for you to experience, awesome, almost $300 each, but once in a lifetime adventure.

A little expensive, but I probably won't ever go again. It was exciting. I paid an extra $100 for both of us to fly up front with the pilot. You are really up close and personal. The ride was very slow. Maybe 40-60mph. Rough sometimes, but the pilot was a very good pilot. You all wear headphones to hear narrations... More

I was very much looking forward to this experience. It is quite pricey, and I thought the splurge would be worth it. I was in a middle seat, and my view was blocked by the seat in front of me. We were supposed to be flying inside the Canyon for about 45 minutes, but although I didn't time it, I... More

Thank you for taking time to post a review, and we apologize for the dissatisfaction you felt with your tour experience. As you are already aware, heliports at the Grand Canyon are not located on the rim itself, so approximately the first seven minutes of flight involves flying over Kaibab National Forest until you reach the edge of the canyon.... From the moment we were picked up in a limousine from our hotel (on time I might add!) we were blown away with the personalised service we received. We took the early flight and there were only two couples on board. We were lucky enough to get the front seats and had spectacular scenery the whole way. The pilot was... More

We stopped here on a whim to take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. We were pleasantly surprised at the cost considering this would be a tourist trap. Our tour cost around $179pp. We jumped at the next appointment 30 minutes later. Our pilot Steve was great. I immediately felt comfortable and got to ride shot gun. There's music... More
