After two days of touring the entire South Rim, we booked an early morning helicopter tour through Papillion. The tour was of the South and North rims in an Eco-star helicopter and Grand Canyon Helicopters ran the 50 minute tour we took. The tour was 50 minutes and it exceeded our expectations. The views presented such a new perspective of the... More

We took the FIVE hour bus trip to the canyon and as we arrived were told it was to windy so it was cancelled. My one star is 100% for the safety. We did NOT have a representative from the company come and apologise or offer us anything else in its place. We tried to get onto a jeep ride... More

My husband and I pre-booked the 50 min imperial with eco-star tour. Upon arrival, the staff was not very friendly, and seemed frustrated when I asked questions. Our flight was delayed by about an hour because of 'scheduled maintenance'. In addition, I attempted to purchase front seat upgrades for both of us, but was told we were too heavy (300... More

We were visiting the Grand Canyon at the beginning of October and since we were only going to be there for a couple of days and only see the South Rim, we decided to take a helicopter tour of the North Rim (30 minutes) with Papillon Helicopters. We did the tour before we even visited the South Rim so it... More

The highlight of our trip to Grand Canyon. Cannot describe the beauty of the Canyon from the air. Pilot/guide was informative and enthusiastic. We paid extra for the ecostar helicopter which I think was worth it, with all round viewing. Only slight downer was that we arrived at the terminal as instructed but then sent to different terminal for ecostar,... More

I enjoyed this helicopter ride, as really the only way to see the vastness of the Grand Canyon. I would have liked it better with fewer riders (there were 5 in the back with the 6th upfront with the pilot). It was a tight fit but I always felt safe (you have to watch a safety video beforehand). Mostly I... More

The ride was smooth, and the views were spectacular. Our pilot carried us over the river which can barely be seen from the canyon rim lookout points. The aspens had just turned in the forest adjoining the canyon, so the early fall leaves were amazing. The price was a bit high (around $250 per person for a 45 minute ride)... More

When the helicopter took off, we were so exciting! Wow! So beautiful view! You can't find how grand the grand canyon it is if you don't take a helicopter! Wonderful, must try!

We booked our flight over the Grand Canyon and were absolutely thrilled not only with the views but also with the attention on the people on the ground and in the air. Everyone in the airport was professional and willing to help. We visited with a number of employees and found them all helpful and friendly. We got in the... More

Four of us booked the 45min Imperial Air tour on ECO helicopter. When reconfirming your flight double check which Papillion office you will use for check in as they have two at the Grand Canyon Airport and we initially went to the wrong one. The flight was absolutely amazing and well worth the cost - i would go as far... More
