If it's your birthday or you just fancy a treat then lash out $176 (Early July 2014, approx. £110) it's just a way to try and conceptualise the magnitude of the canyon which you can't seem to get from the rim edge views. It's also just impressive. My experience was very positive and I had to laugh as I'm sat... More

This had been on our bucket list for a couple of years so we wanted to get it right - and we did! ignore the bad reviews about them leaving you if you not there etc etc! They were organised to a tee! Just be on time - what is so difficult about that! It's courtesy to your fellow travellers... More

An expensive way to see the Grand Canyon. We were there when the Government shut down parks last year. The only way for us to see the Grand Canyon then was by helicopter. The flight didn't last long. Not a great way to see it, especially if sat in the back without a window seat too.

It was an awesome experience to fligh with a helicopter over the Hooverdam and the Grand Canyon. And to land in the Grand Canyon and have a picnic was incredible!!! So if you have the change to do this .. then do it. You won't regret it :-)

We enjoyed our first helicopter trip...over the worlds greatest canyon ! The female pilot was great and shared banter and updates initially before the 'canned' commentary started. The trip was was well planned by them , good safety briefing, attentive staff...all very good. One confusing factor was that the taxi driver had to have local insight to get us to... More

The three of us took a trip in the EcoStar for our Grand Canyon experience; I am a keen photographer, and liked the idea of glass all around the helicopter. Upon booking one month previously, we had stated we would be interested in a $50 upgrade (per person) for the option of sitting in the front seats. As we checked... More

It was an experience for my Granddaughter. Weather was windy & rainy. We got straight on the flight as they were trying to fill a ride and only needed two more people. I have seen the canyon so I was not so impressed with the view. I think the experience from the edge is more breathtaking. It was pricey. My... More

An absolutely fantastic experience. Seeing the Canyon from above is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Flying just below the rim, seeing the Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers so clearly, as well as rock formations up close and personal... Just outstanding! I can have issues with heights, but this was magnificent!

I went on this helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon from Tusayan with a freind and we were both speechless the scenery is incredible. The pilot was lovely, we did have a delay due to an issue with one of the helicopters but it was good to know that the company put safety first. The whole experience was well organised... More

This is well worth the cost. The arrangements were very professional and safety briefing quite detailed. Despite never having flown in a helicopter before neither my wife now I were nervous about the trip partly because, in my view, the arrangements were so well managed. The experience itself and the views are outstanding.
