Great village in Yellowstone to stop at the Visitor Education Center (great place to gather information and find the places you want to visit in the Park). The Village has lots to offer with stores, visitor center, post office, restaurants, etc. And it's a great central part of the park.

It was a fantastic experience. ELK, MULE DEER, fox, squirrels and saw an awesome tarantula. Walking distance to Grand Canyon Village and on the bus route. Camp in the park and enjoy the canyon village experience. Have dinner at one of the nice restaurants on the rim and see the hikers down in the canyon at night. Take a good... More

The Grand Canyon Village is a scenic village in the South Rim. It is very easy to get lost here because of the mesmerising views along the way. I do not have any reason to not call it a must-visit.

Everybody once in their life should visit the Grand Canyon. Breathtaking beauty. The village is well laid out, and accessible to all. A real sense of community and safety. All staff that we came in contact with were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable.

This is a nice little village along the rim of the canyon. The village hosts the daily Grand Canyon Railroad train and has numerous hotels and restaurants.

At the Grand Canyon Village you'll find a little bit of everything. There is lodging, dining and shopping. The Bright Angel Trail starts here as well. There are stunning views of the canyon and lucky visitors may spot a California Condor perched on a rock outcropping. While we were here in July we saw one, possibly number 23, fairly close... More

We drove in from Flagstaff along Route 64; I'd recommend this as we had awesome views of the canyon before we even entered the park. Go early. We left at noon and the queue to enter the park was a mile long. As for the village itself, there's really nothing to see. Thankfully the hotels were all full when we... More

Wonderfull! We had no words to express what we felt during our visit to the Grand Canyon. We stayed in Williams and within the hour we were at the village. In pur opinion its better to park your car at the park and nnjot in the village. It takes a while with the shuttle bus to bring you to the... More
