AzRA Discovery specializes in running active, multi-day, all inclusive trips; focusing on back country hiking, camping, exploring and learning about the Grand Canyon. We believe a Grand Canyon rafting trip is about more than rapids. We strive to share with and show our guests the other wonders to be had, in addition to the whitewater thrills at the bottom of magnificent Grand Canyon. AzRA’s tours range from 6-16 days in length. Trip options vary from a full canyon trip (225 miles), to a partial canyon trip; rafting either the upper half (90 miles) or the lower half (136 miles) of the Grand Canyon. Our trip lengths on these sections provide the optimum amount of time to experience the Grand Canyon. We run non-motorized (paddle and oar) and motorized trips. We also offer specialty tripssuch as: hiking, yoga, natural history, human history/dory or kayaking. Take the trip of a lifetime and come play with us!

Family of 4 just returned from an 8 day motor raft trip from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek. Traveled 225 miles on the river. 12 passengers on the raft. Great geology lesson plus great river stories along the way. Camped each night along the riverbed under the stars. No need for tents in early June. Daily side hikes were unbelievable.... More
