Loved every minute of this tour from the minute that we were picked up from our hotel location via limo service until we were dropped back off at the same place hours later. It is about a 45 minute helicopter ride to the canyon from the LAS airport where you will fly by the Skywalk attraction on the western edge... More

I loved this trip our pilot Curtis was funny (and ex military which made me feel safe that he knew what he was doing). It's not cheap and you don't want to be in the middle seats so pay the extra for a front seat. We did the sunset tour which was gorgeous my only improvement would be personally I... More

Booked our trip with Trip Advisor #8 company ended up with this #14 ranked company. They are owned by Papillon but separate second rate facility. Appears bus tours are sent to Pappilion facility and rest of us get sent here. Promised safety briefing before we flew never shown it. We had Germans and French tourist on same flight so we... More

Thank you for taking time to post a review, and we apologize for the dissatisfaction you felt with your tour experience. Grand Canyon Helicopters and Papillon are, in fact, separate companies with different price points and tour offerings. The safety briefing video runs every few minutes and is located in a public part of the lobby, you should have been... More

We planned our US trip for 12 months, and spent a heap of time researching different operators and tours - and hearing horror stories about hidden charges, incorrect bookings, and the rest. After all that, we chose to take a Grand Kingdom tour with Grand Canyon Helicopters and it was absolutely the holiday highlight for all of us. It cost... More

The 45 minute flight is advertised as a photographer's delight. However, the helicopter has 4 seats across the back. If you are in one of the middle two seats and want to take photos, you have wasted your money, it's so disappointing. They don't mention the "no window seats" in the advertising. The window people block the views and the... More

Thank you for posting a balanced review. We value all customer feedback in our effort to maintain the highest standards in customer experience and service. We apologize that the tour didn’t meet your expectations. EC-130s were designed specifically for sightseeing, with stadium seating and wrap-around windows to offer the best possible views. This was a tough call for me due to the cost but I decided to bite the bullet and dish it out and I'm very glad I did. We did the ecostar 45 minute flight with Thomas as our our pilot and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the canyon itself was breathtaking beyond compare! The background music on... More

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. A helicopter took us right down into the Colorada River where we landed and then embarked on a boat up and down the river. We were then picked up again by the helicopter and up we went again around the Grand Canyon. Its not a cheap trip, nearly £400 for two... More

The Imperial Tour with upgrade to Ecostar copter was a once in a lifetime thrill for our family group! Papillon Helicopter Tours was first class from reservation, through check-in and completion of our flight. We were very impressed with the very professional staff, excellent waiting area with modern, clean facilities, great giftshop, professional photography services and most importantly well-equipped helicopters... A 45 minute helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon was one of the best things I have done in my life. I could not believe how emotional I felt and how insignificant I was in the history of the world amidst this natural wonder that has taken millions of years to form. The short commentary provides information before you just... More

Arrived in the Canyon area and saw the signs for the local airport. On the spur of the moment we decided to drive in and find out about prices and availability for a flight.
