Being of the view that I will quite probably only get the chance to visit the Canyon once, and making the most of each stop in my tour from the east to the west coast of the states, the helicopter ride over and in the canyon was never a question. Though I paid $275, for 45 minutes, I can definitely... More

sadly our experience very different from most and not because of the helicopter experience but unfortunately the circumstances surrounding it. We were left in temperatures of over 100 F for over an hour on the runway with little shade and with dozens of others. We had been told experience would take 45 minutes and that water was available on the... More

We would first like to apologize for your unfortunate experience and thank you for your review. We strongly value customer feedback, both positive and negative, in effort to maintain the highest standards in customer experience and service. You mentioned a landing at the valley floor, which would indicate that you were at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, while... More

This was a great experience to view the Canyon from such close distance and to experience the dept and vastness. We were dropped down to the Colorado river and we took a boat ride, we even stepped into the Colorado river and clicked pictures.

I paid USD233 being the dearest option as we were told it guaranteed everyone a window seat. NOT SO. I was allocated a seat inside on back row of four and was totally unable to get any decent views. Other people had to take photos as impossible to get pictures without large amount of other people in it.a total waste... More

We are sorry to hear that there was a misunderstanding with the seating configuration, as we can never “guarantee” any particular seat on the aircraft. Seat assignments are completely dependent upon the weight of each passenger and balance calculations of the aircraft. Our helicopters are specifically designed for sightseeing and are equipped with large, oversized windows and stadium style seats... More

Five of us were taken on the last flight of the day, due to increasing winds. Helicopter pilot very pleasant and knowledgeable.Flew first few minutes over forested area, until we reached the canyon rim, and the wow factor. Dropped into the canyon, and had fabulous views of the Colorado river flowing a mile below. Spent some 45 minutes flying and... More

The ecocopter was quiet and we enjoyed hearing the pilot's commentary and his music selections through the headphones. We were there on a brilliant sunny day with little wind and had a smooth flight of about 45 minutes on the usual track over the canyon. The Little Colorado and the Colorado Rivers were blue from snow melt, not the brown... More

We waited with the reservation until we actually arrived at the rim....wow...so spectacular, we had to see it from above. If you book a helicopter flight, book with the modern EC helicopter for the few USD more. This because (as others pointed out) chances are big that with the older helicopter you will not get a window seat and thus... More

$750 for two was pricey but worth it if the experience was truly awesome. But it wasn't. Flight to GC was long and the view of the GC was very brief. We basically dropped into a bend in the river; not much actual flying through the canyon. Quite unspectacular, especially after we saw the grander views from the national park... More

Although expensive for a family of four, this was truly one of those unique experiences that you'll never forget. Taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon was extraordinary and breathtaking. I hesitated due to the cost, but I wanted something that my family could share together and never forget. This is ONE of those experiences, for sure. Utterly amazing... More

I was with a group. it was emphasized before the flight that seating was non-negotiable and assigned to "balance the load". Why this might be an issue became evident when we boarded: half of the passengers don't get a window seat. The flight proceeded to the western part of the canyon (away from people). The flight remained above the canyon... More
