Located in northwest Arizona and arguably the world's most popular (and splendid) natural tourist attraction, the massive Canyon is 277 miles long, 18 miles wide, and at its deepest point, is more than a mile from rim to river. Most of the Canyon lies within Grand Canyon National Park and is managed by the National Park Service. It incorporates three geographically separated areas: the South Rim, the North Rim and the inner canyon.

I fell in love with this place way back in 1983 when I first laid eyes on this immense hole in the Earth !!! I hope one day to live very close to this place as it holds a very special place in my heart & will always remind me of the wonderful times we had on that very first... More

We visited the west rim of the Grand Canyon and oh my gosh, it has to be seen to be believed! It is a truly stunning, magnificent sight and no photos would ever do it justice. I highly recommend anyone visiting this side of the U.S., to checkout the canyon. You will not regret it!

One of the most significant Natural Wonders of the World. A must see if you haven't yet. Park Service is attempting to be more pet friendly at this park. However, the concessionaires hold monopoly on the our US Government (the people's owned) managed lands. Also, they don't allow pets.

April is a bit soon in the year, was prety cold and North rim does not open before 15 of may. We miss out on that one. Price for the park 25.00 for a week pass, no other alternative. I dont agree on that choice, you dont always spend the week there. No possibility to camp inside the park for... More

When I tell foreigners where they have to see in the U.S., this may be #1. Definitely in the top 3. Don't miss it - there is nothing like being there in person. Photos don't begin to do the majesty justice. Impossible to describe or photograph.

The breathtaking hudge hole in the Earth. Lots of beautiful views. You have to spend all day if you want to get them all. If you have the power go down the canyon even some time, the view are different from that perspective.

I guess maybe I'm a little jaded I wont say it wasn't beautiful and it wasn't breathtaking because honestly it was but pick a few view points and then maybe go back to your hotel or go see something else. I did the desert view drive and that was plenty enough plus managed to drive out to the North Rim... More

It really is an amazing sight. The sheer scale of it is amazing. We flew over it while we were there is a helicopter and I do recommend this - the best way to see the sheer scale of it. Having said all that our family preferred Zion. Zion has a variety of views and is beautiful. The Grand Canyon... More

We easily took a day trip from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. The park was well managed and the sights were spectacular. This visit requires walking but there are shuttle buses whose use is included in your entrance fee. Enjoyed a nice lunch ( no wait) at the Angel Point Lodge. I was surprised that the food and the available... More
