Located in northwest Arizona and arguably the world's most popular (and splendid) natural tourist attraction, the massive Canyon is 277 miles long, 18 miles wide, and at its deepest point, is more than a mile from rim to river. Most of the Canyon lies within Grand Canyon National Park and is managed by the National Park Service. It incorporates three geographically separated areas: the South Rim, the North Rim and the inner canyon.

The Grand Canyon is a place that should be visited by everyone who is able to get there. We spent two nights/3 days at the North Rim in a cabin at the edge of the canyon. The cabins are the real deal; cozy, comfortable and very clean with a bath too! The food in the lodge dining room was excellent. Be... More

I love the Grand Canyon. This was my second visit to the GC and my first to the North Rim. I do have to say that I like the North Rim better.

Your view of the Canyon is ever changing. Depending upon the sun, cloud cover or lack of cover, and the time of day, the colors are constantly different. We took pictures from the same viewing points over several hours, and all the pictures had a different look. Man could never have created this nature's wonder. A must place to visit.... More

That’s according to my 77-year old mother who had seen other great wonders before (natural or man-made) like the Pyramids (Giza)), Angkor Wat (Siem Reap), the Underground River (Palawan) and Chocolate Hills (Bohol). That's an experience of a lifetime; a must-visit before you die (literally).

This is the most breath taking place in the world and believe it I have been to China, Australia, Fare East, Africa, Europa, South and North America. There is not any place or building in this world that can be compared with Grand Canyon

This can only be experienced in person - amazingly breathtaking and not to be missed! We visited the northern side, which is Ponderosa Pines and higher elevation than the southern desert side, and weren't disappointed - we felt we made the right choice! Stay late enough to see the stars without light pollution - incredible!

Breath taking, if it's in your budget take a helicopter tour. The perfect time to visit this place is before June and after August due to the heat.

You've seen the pictures but you have to come see for yourself! Set aside at least 2 full days to get the most out of it, although if you're pressed for time, a full day would give you a pretty good taste. If you're the adventurous type and want to hike down to the river, stay overnight at the Phantom... More
