What can I say?? An advertised 7 hour trip hotel to hotel. Booked for 10am, was outside hotel at 9.30 only to see the tour bus depart without us! Dashed to the airport in a cab, only to find that the plane took off at 11.35! Why the hurry to pick up so early? Vision airlines ran out of box... more

30th anniversary trip taken october 2009-everyone must do the Grand Canyon at least once. We stayed outside the park and drove in everyday-(only a couple of miles). Got up every morning to see the sunrise and made sure we caught the sunset. Get where you want to be way before the sunset time because that is when it is over!--but... more

My son and I enjoy backpacking but only have enough experience to be dangerous. We wanted a 4-day trip into the Grand Canyon and searched for guide services. We picked Just Roughin' It, due to the fun and adventurous nature of their services. They recommended a trek based upon our level of experience (the Hermit Trail) and made it easy... more

In October of 2009 we visited the Grand Canyon. The weather was unusually warm, in the 80's with cool evenings. We visited the Cameron Trading Post in Cameron Az, entering the park from the east gate. After passing through the Navajo Indian Reservation, which was beautiful in it's own right, we stopped at the trading post. There was an abundance... more

It was truly amazing experience. Watching stucture of canyon, changing colors of stones and more. Whole south rim is divided on three parts which respond different color's of FREE shuttels.... more

This is my 2nd trip to Grand Canyon and I am still wow by it. Was deciding between the South and the West Rim, and after reading the various reviews, decided to visit the South Rim again. I think the charges at West Rim is a tad too much. We rented a 7 seater from Alamo, and drove up to... more

We drove to Grand Canyon Village from Flagstaff, stopping at the National Geographic centre which is just outside the Park entrance. We watched the Imax movie of the Canyon's history, including Powell's exploration, which gave us a great introduction to the scale of the place. We walked on the South Rim: it was amazing how quickly the people thinned out... more

Before seeing it for myself, with my own eyes, i never realized how gorgeous it was. The open area, the views, the colorado rivver running through it. my husband and i took a helicopter ride and a boat on the colorado river. Expensive, but most definately worth it! not something you do all the time. I would definitely say it... more

The Grand Canyon is more than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau. It is more than an awe-inspiring view. It is more than a pleasuring ground for those that explore the roads. This canyon is a gift that transcends what we experience. Its beauty and size humbles us. Its timelessness provokes a comparison... more
