Many Glacier Hotel sets along side of this beautiful lake. Graniel mountain splits it in two, with mountains surrounding lake and hotel , wonderful views with bears and mountain goats in mountains..

Swiftcurrent Lake is like a gem set amongst the towering mountain peaks in the Many Glacier area. The views from the Many Glacier Lodge across the lake to Mt Gould and the glacier studded slopes of the surrounding mountains is one that I will not forget. Although there were intermittent showers we decided to take the 2.6 mile Loop Trail... More

This is about as good as it gets. We loved our time here and the meal we ate at the Many Glacier Lodge. I could spend days here just looking across the lake at different times of day. This was our favorite lodge of all of the ones that we went to while in Glacier. It is just a fantastic... More

If you get out on the lake before the wind picks up, you will be reward with an incredible reflection of the mountains on the lake. You can rent a kayak or canoe from the boat dock starting at 9am.

A nice easy walk around the lake with many entry and exit points. Very pretty, subject to wind action on the waves and frequented by ducks and canoests alike.

We took the swiftcurrent boat ride and then only the short hike before we returned to the lodge. There is a longer hike available with a guide. With a setting like this, there is no way that a TA review could be anything negative, this is one of the best locations in the park for visual treats. The boat ride... More

It's an easy walk around the lake from the Many Glacier Hotel and offers up some nice views of the surrounding mountains. Worthwhile.

We had a picnic near the shore, and then hiked the trail along the edge. Great shots of the lake, and driftwood laying along the shore. The mountains are gorgeos surrounding the lake, and my photographer's eye caught many good shots.

This is a super easy, 2.5 mile hike around a beautiful lake. My 3 year old son walked this hike easily and happily, I think in around 2 hours or less. A nice part is that the trail goes to Many Glacier Hotel which is a very nice place to stop at, view the lake and eat huckleberry ice cream... More

We took a morning boat ride on Swiftcurrent Lake to go on the ranger led hike to Lake Grinnell. You take a short hike after the first boat ride to Lake Josephine. Then another boat ride to the trailhead. The boat rides were nice with beautiful scenery. The hike with the ranger was great too. She gave us lots of... More
