Be sure to see the wildlife exhibit. It is so informative and gives realistic perspective of the wildlife. The film/talk we saw was Wolves and Sled dogs....don't miss it!

I stopped by on my way from Anchorage to Fairbanks in mid March and most of the park was shut down for the season, including the main visitor center. I followed a sign pointing to a winter visitor center and it was supposed to be closed by 4 pm, but I just lucky that they had some meeting and let... More

There are two visitor centers at Denali. You'll want to visit both. The first one can get you acclimated to what the park has to offer (located close to the main road going into the park). The other one is located far within the park and you must take a bus to see it. It's worth it for the beautiful... More

A huge house where stuffed animals are kept for viewing and a lot of literature on wild life, more detailed versions of which are available on the net and a Starbucks. This is what makes the Visitor Centre. Not worth it, but all the same I would ask you to come down to this place once as the scenery is... More

We enjoy best being out there in it, but the Museum and Visitor center had a lot of interesting facts that rounded out our outdoor visit of Denali National Park. Enjoyed the film, the huge relief map of the mountain, and the history of the locals.

Great staff to answer any questions, nice film to learn about Alaska. Walking trails to enjoy. I think it is a must educationally speaking.

I recommend you stop here first on your trip to Denali. It will provide maps, shuttle buses to from the preserve and dog sled demonstration. The center has great information on the park as well as the history. Restrooms and ample parking as well. The Alaska railroad is right next to the visitor center.

This is a neat place with a lot of info on entering the Denali park. Lots of great pictures-Animal info of park stuff you will see in the preserve. A lot of people to answer ?'s that you might like to find more hands on answers on. Don't forget to check this place out on your way into the park!

A source of great information about Denali National Park. The rangers are friendly and only eager to help you with any kind of information you would like to have about the Park, wild life, flora, etc.

I liked everything. It is one of the best, hands on, creative, centers I have seen. It taught the vital relationships between wildlife, environments, and insects.
