Good trail to the Kennel show

A good trail from the wilderness center to the dog Kennel show. Time it so that you can see the show and then take a bus or walk back.

Nice varied walk to the dog kennels and more interesting a hike than roadside trail. Enjoyed the sound of rushing water even when we couldn't see it. Quite a well sheltered trail, meaning it is good even in the rain.

Lots of choices, great taste and beats the expensive restaurants in the area. Clean, fast and efficient - the decor is truly rustic but pleasing.

This is a nice peaceful hike with ups and downs but not really hard. I saw a mother moose and her little one on the trail. It is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon after spending time with the dogs.

We took this trail back to the Visitor Center after visiting the dog kennels and it was a fun one hour hike. Some "huffing and puffing" but the views were worth it.

This trail is one of the best in the entrance area of Denali NP. It's moderate as far as trail grading goes. I think the NP titles it "moderately strenuous", but I don't think it earns the strenuous notation. Either way, it's a good hike. My children (4 & 6) had no trouble at all with this trail. My suggestion... More

This is a great trail with many options. You can also leave the trial to visit the dog sled area which I highly recommend. It is a very easy trial about 4.5 miles but there are smaller options.

Very good walk through the forest, just demanding enough. The spruce offered nice shade and light. Ended by sled dogs so we could see them without a crowd and then get the shuttle back.

Connects with the Taiga/Roadside trails and skirts the high hillside. Similar high boreal forest views, like Mt Healy. No Alpine shots or Parks Hwy views. Beautiful, lush, secuded and loaded with wildlife.

This was I nice hike through the beginning of Denali National Park. It starts at the Visitor Center and runs through till the Sled Dog Kennels. About 2 miles, even an amateur like me could finish it in less than 75 min (including breaks for photography and blueberry picking). The views are great even though we didn't see any moose,... More
