Very good demonstration. Loved how excited the dogs got when they realized they were going to pull the sled

I'm not usually a "pet" person but I loved these dogs! They are amazing animals, hard working and eager to do what they've been trained to do. We totally enjoyed the sled demonstration and my husband enjoyed petting the dogs. Was worth the time.

Based on one of the suggestions we got from TA Alaska forum while planning our itinerary we visited the sled dog demonstration on the last day of our visit to Denali NP. My husband and I absolutely loved the demonstration. We went for the 10AM demonstration. Took the first bus from visitor's center. It was pretty crowded and I guess... More

The national reserve forest officials do a fantastic job with the dutiful dogs. The huskies are really adorable and it is just amazing to watch them Live in these arctic conditions. Do it if you have extra 2 hours since it is free of cost !!!

The park rangers do a good job but it is not the same without snow. Nonetheless, the dogs are beautiful, friendly, and really want to run. See it if you have time.

The demo is excellent, but ice missing. The sled dogs were competing to join the race. The mushers taking great care of the canines. The answered all our queries.

If you have a car, you can actually park near the kennels instead of hiking from the visitor center or taking the bus to the demo, although the parking is a bit limited. Check with the Park to find out which of the daily demo times will work best for you. Plan to get to the kennels at least 30... More

We really enjoyed the sled dog presentation. The park rangers were knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer questions. We really enjoyed before and after the shows being able to walk around and per several of the dogs. Fun and only takes a little time. Check the show times and plan on about 1-2 hours here.

We did a dog sled excursion in Skagway, AK. It was a neat experience to see how much the dogs love to pull. They were the friendliest bunch of dogs I've ever seen. We got to pet them after the ride and we just wish the ride would have been a little longer and in snow. Overall, it was a... More

This free demonstration is one for all dog lovers. The staff are friendly as are the dogs, and knowledgeable. We were allowed to pet some of the dogs and we got a short demonstration of how they pull a sled.
