DOC took great care of us. There were only three of us on the paddle trip today, a sunny, beautiful but quite cold day here in Denali. The dry suits kept us warm, our guide, Adam was personable and helpful and made the experience really great. The new snow on the mountains made for an amazing backdrop and while giving... More

We happened to have reserved a trip on a very cold day (30s with wind); we assumed that if conditions were too bad, they would cancel. Their advice was just to wear as many warm clothes as possible, and they did dress us all in dry suits. However, hands, feet, and faces were freezing and exposed to cold water, then... More

We went on the Canyon Paddle tour and we had fun! Our guide Bobby had a great sense of humor and knowledge. He provided information along the way and kept us safe. The suits they provide keep you dry. Thank you for a fun afternoon.

We took the half day oar float with another couple in the raft. It was a great trip even though the weather was rainy. The glacier water in the river is REALLY cold but just added to the experience!

I was in the area for just a few nights but wanted to get in some whitewater. DOC was recommended and I did the Canyon Oar float. It was great! The dry suit worked well and the guide was outstanding. I was able to enjoy the whitewater and see areas of the Nenana River not available any other way. Highly... More

The campgrounds are top notch (stayed there for 3 nights), raft guides great as well. To give one critique, the showers' hot water runs out a little quickly.

Water Rafting (Canyon Oar) was awesome! The crew was fantastic. This was our first time and we felt extremely safe! The experience was surreal. The canyon is gorgeous! AND yes, we were DRY after the event! The dry suites work nicely.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon on the Nenana River, with Al as our guide. His competence allowed us to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery along our route between Denali and Healy. The rapids were fun and invigorating. The gear was in great condition and odor free.

Our group did some white water rafting and had a blast. Our guide, Tim, nicely balanced information with whimsy, singing us some songs through a few of the rapids. The kids had a great time and, yes, we were all soaked. The dry suits did their jobs, though, so we were cold but dry. My daughter wore her GoPro throughout... More
