As I am sure the attendance is far lower in the snowy months, the feeling of solitude and opportunity for personal reflection were both ever present. A few hours did not do the park justice, even with most snowed in.
Due to winter conditions we were only able to enter on the south side of the lake. The park maintenance crew did a great job of keeping the roads open on the south entrance even though there was still a lot of snow in the area. The visitor

What a beautiful place. There was still quite a bit of snow, so navigating that was interesting. But happened to have clear day and the views were spectacular. Had a really nice lunch at the lodge and me some great people.
