Owner description: We are farmers. We grow the food we sell. We serve fresh organic vegetables and salads. We bake artisan bread each day in our wood fired stone oven. We make fresh cheese from the milk our goats give us. We also serve a darn good cup of coffee. Stop and sit on our porch and enjoy some good food.

This is a great little place, in an out of the way location. We had the absolute best coffee and delicious cinnamon bun. Randy, the owner and farmer, was a delight. There was another somewhat comparable market close.....don't go there.....make sure you go to the Mesa Farm Market! It was one of our best experiences during our entire 2 week... More

It wouldn't be hard to miss & we weren't even looking for it but sure glad we found it. Fresh organic greens, goat cheese, goat yogurt smoothie, bread straight out of an outdoor brick oven baked by a Dr. on sabbatical, followed by brick oven cinnamon rolls, a working border collie herding goats, a tour of a cheese cave. What... More

I had read about this market while researching roadside attractions to be found along our drive from Las Vegas to Yellowstone. It is a small enterprise which comes up quickly along Route 24 in Caineville, Utah. Do yourself a flavor and stop in. The owners are personable and their organic offerings are mouth-watering. Reasonable prices seem to be the norm... More

Very personable proprietor and THE best apples and stone-baked bread you'll ever taste. Wish we could find such produce and bread in our local area!

From the outside it may not look like much but treat yourself and stop in and check it out. Down home friendly people run this place. Coffee was freshly ground and brewed to order - no sitting on the burner coffee here - delightful. Fresh goat's milk feta cheese made there. Delicious cinnamon rolls. In season fresh veggies - tomatoes,... More

We stopped here whilst driving towards Torrey on Highway 24, as it was a "do not miss" recommendation in our Lonely Planet guide book. I am so glad we did!! It is a tiny place (blink and you'll miss it), which serves home-made bread, cheese, cinnamon rolls etc. It is all made on the farm, the guys there were interested... More

We visited Mesa Farm Market after a ranger at Escalante Park told us that this was a must-see stop. The Mesa Farm Market is a small market on a small organic farm. This is about a twenty minute drive from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor's Center. We had the most amazing apricot smoothies made with goat's milk yogurt. This... More

So here's a man who is truly living a dream. We visited his place in the off season, and in good Western tradition, he took over half an hour out of his subsistence life for a chat about his ideals and his farming innovations and his life. Here's a fellow raised in a farming family who didn't have a lot... More

I think I found an entry about Mesa Farm, about 1/2 hour from Capital Reef in Torrey, and decided to go a couple of weeks ago. It was worth the trip to the slate grey landscape that looked like you were on the moon, and the fresh organic salad & baked bread with fresh pesto that was Over the Moon.... More
