Liked it all. The views were fantastic. So many photo opportunities. Traveled down to the Colorado River.

This National Park is big. This is a must see and is much more protected than the Grand Canyon. There are 3 sections to the park (Islands, Maze, and Needles) and you can not see them all in a day. The Needles area is South of Moab about 60 miles and the Islands area is North of Moab about 30... More

The drive through Cannyonlands is breathtaking...we saw The Newspaper wall, the Ruins and hiked to Needles which was amazing. Just follow the Cairns and you will have the perfect path for a hike. Great place for pictures..we will be back.

Go to the Island in the Skye section of the park only. the other two areas are not as accessible and take some time to drive but the northern park is rewarding and the terrain very different than Arches. Gorgeous

Incredible place, with an interesting drive Make sure you have at least half a tank of fuel and water to drink. Deceptive distances to drive in Park - no services.

An absolutely beautiful place on the planet...A must see....Much more protected and secluded than the Grand Canyon...Many viewpoints for easy viewing...Don't miss this one....

The canyons here are amazing and the hikes range from easy to challenging, but good roads, well planned parking areas and easily accessible camping mean that Canyonland National Park has something for everyone, to include the physically challenged. Sadly, due to unrestricted expansion and irresponsible encroachment, the developed world has very few dark skies left. I hadn't seen the Milky... More

This park didn't jump out at us when planning our road trip - we're seniors and physically limited. Descriptions of the park suggested it was more for back roading and trekking. Generally, that is true but we found time to drive into both the Needles and the Valley sections and were rewarded with some of the most spectacular views of... More

Whilst traveling to Moab we went to Canyonland National Park and we were blown away, very nearly literally by the wind and by the breath taking scenery (the day before the weather had been perfect in Moab but on this particular day the wind blew strongly all day). The landscape here in sections is just breathtaking so make sure you... More

Went there twice on trip to Moab, the first time we went to the needles, and found a great moderate hike, second time to island, and found a tough 5 mile hike. Be very prepared for a back country experience, take lots of water!!!! Great hikes, but be ready
