One of the unsung hero locations of the SW. Utah Parks do a great job on their camp sites. Views of Canyon Lands and Gooseneck are the best! Get there early in the AM for best photos! Be aware you are at elevation so do not do heavy exercise unless you are fit! The views are some of the best... More

Stopped by on the way to Canyonlands National Park and I am so happy that we did. In the early morning was a little bit foggy so we had to come back in the afternoon. The views are spectacular and you can also see the Potassium Lakes Mine. It is an amazing place and it is worth the additional 8miles... More

We took a tip from another biker and took a side trip here while visiting Canyonlands. It's an incredible view and a short ride.

This small state run park is so beautiful, that will impact your imagination.. Nice visitor center with a small outside snackfood truck, then a walk through the trails.....like a walk in the sky. Do not miss this park. To visit before or after visiting Canyonland Park. It is on the same main park road..this is a must go park. Bring your... More

The views of the canyons and painted cliffs are well worth the entry fee. This is a must stop while in Moab. You can either hike out to the point from the visitors center, 3 miles round trip, or drive. If you can hike, do it. You will see things that you won't from the car.

I only give this 3 stars because Canyonlands is much better and right next to Dead Horse. The scenery is basically the same between these 2 parks so I don't think its really worth going to both.

Utah State Parks are the best I have ever visited, and this park is in that system. There is a grest visitor center with trails branching out from it with great views of the Canyonlands. There is a small snack and coffee shop nearby that also sells ice. Camp ground is well maintained with nice bathrooms that have sinks. Please... More
