The mules have a personality. Some are a bit cranky. But that just added to the overall experience. Our guide was Melissa. She was very knowledgeable of the area and made the trip more interesting. I'ts a bit pricey, but saves quite a bit of huffing and puffing to hike into the canyon.

My girlfriend and I arrived a few minutes late but the staff was accomodating and let us join the scheduled ride that was already underway. About the ride:magnificent scenery, a trail of changing characteristics, friendly, sweet horses, fantastic guides - highly receommended!! =)

We took 3 hours morning trip on Aug 21. The cowboys are helpful. The scene will be much better comparing the 2 hours trip. But if you are new to ride a horse like me, you will expect to get your lower back and legs paid for a few days after the trip. Anyway, it is an unforgettable expenses. and... More

This was a pretty unique trail ride--it's mellow, but you've got some steep switchbacks. The guides are friendly and fun, even if they're not experts on the area. It's a fun time for the family.

This is a great experience. You ride mules which are as big as a horse down very narrow trails that drop about 3000 feet to a tunnel. The mules walk right along the edge of the narrow trails so it is not for the faint hearted or someone scared of heights. The views are spectacular. They give great instructions before... More

We took the half day Peek-A-Boo Loop in Bryce Canyon and we had really enjoyable time. We had booked our tickets online so it was just a matter of showing up. Everything ran really smoothly from the office to the guides. Our guide Kevin was really knowledgable and made the trip really fun. As novice riders though we found the... More

I rode the Cassidy trail then down the Lossee Canyon trail and back up the paved path to trailhead. Very good intermediate ride. Beautiful. It took me 2 hours; I am an upper-intermediate rider. Thunder Mountain was much more of a ride than I anticipated but it had some awesome aspects. Great scenery and definitely some technical downhill. Riding across... More

The guides are very nice, the ride (1/2 day) is fabulous, although we felt every bone afterwards. We would clearly recommend it

There are a number of vendors for trail rides. Only go for the best, the trail rides available via the Bryce Canyon Lodge! The horses and mules are in very good condition, the cowboy guides are knowledgeable, friendly and keep things safe but fun. The ride is the best way to see the hoo doos. Go for the half day... More

We did the 2 hour Bryce Canyon trail ride and not experienced riders over 60! They were helpful and friendly from the start. A great way to get to the canyon floor. our guide JB was knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable. Highlight of our trip to the canyon.
