Excellent 2 hour ride into the canyon with my husband, daughter and 7 & 9 year old grand daughters. Hank, our guide was the BEST! Took very good care of me who hadn't been on a horse/mule in 55 years+. Would definitely recommend to all. Be sure to be there 45 minutes ahead!

My husband and I(inexperienced riders), took the morning 3 1/2 hour ride in Bryce Canyon. What an experience!! The horses are so tame and well-trained but they do tend to want to walk right on the rim, which can be a bit scary. This is an incredible way to see a huge part of Bryce from rim to bottom! Matt,... We did the two hour ride. The ride was beautiful, the wrangler was terrific. BUT, you're prohibited from bringing water and they don't bring water. Bryce is cooler than other places but it's still the Southwest in the summer. And no helmets. Again, all in all a good experience.

We were glad we did it. Both my wife and i had been on horses before, and i think that makes it less threatening. Mules are more surefooted and predictable than horses, so if you have ridden horses and dont mind heights, this is cake. If you have never been riding at all, and are not able to be a... More

What a great outfit! My grandsons and I signed up for the half day ride. Very well organized from the online registration, e-mail reminder, check in process, and the ride itself. The horses were well fed and groomed. The wranglers were very courteous and funny! Newt was a great guide stopping frequently for photo ops and explaining many of the... More

Just took the 1/2 day Zion ride along the Sand Bench Trail. I was afraid it might be just a walk along the river but we climbed into some of the high country, took trails with incredible vistas, crossed rivers, meandered through cottonwoods. It truly was the way to see Zion. The horses and mules were pros. Our guides were... More

My daughter and I really enjoyed our 3 hour ride through Bryce Canyon with Bryce Canyon Trail Rides. It added a special experience to our time spent at the canyon. The guides were very patient with those in our group who had little to no experience with horses, and while riding we felt relaxed enough to talk with them about... More

I go on trail rides while on vacation as often as I can -- I like horses, and I know that "on horseback" is one of the best ways to see an area. I also like sharing my vacation money with local businesses -- and trail rides are almost always local businesses. That said, Canyon Trail Rides in Bryce offers... More

We had a great ride. The Peek-A-Boo loop trip really shows you all of Bryce from up close in the three hours. We rode mostly slow, but really had to control our own horses. There was a little trotting. In all of Bryce, but most notably here at least to us, was that if you're going to be a couple... More

My family of five had a wonderful time. Shawn was our guide (with his son) and took good care of my kids. They were patient and accommodating. Even holding my son's horse so he could get off for a bathroom break. Took a picture for our family too. We had a lot of fun and took great pictures. A different... More
