You must do this. We took the "half day" (3 hour) ride and it was amazing. Scary at times but I thought it was a great way to push my kids boundaries. The staff was really good at pairing horses with rider ability. Our guide (Shawn) was both entertaining and educational about the canyon's past present and future (and full... More

They leave their horses completely saddled up all day in the blazing hot sun. The extra weight & heat is not good for the horses

Keegan was our guide and he did a great job! He is still in high school, but was very enthusiastic about Bryce and he loved the horses. There were some problems with my horse and he was very patient and helpful. He also helped my niece with her saddle during the ride. We took the 1 1/2 trip and it... More

Half day ride is not worth it. Take the hour to hour and half ride. The guides were awesome but the ride itself was boring. There were a few surprises but otherwise just eh. The trail itself was a bit challenging and if you are afraid of heights this trail is NOT for you. If you are afraid of drop... More

We took the 3 hour ride for $85 per person. I am not an experienced rider and told the guides that. I was given Hoodoo to ride -- the perfect horse for me! There were 17 riders in our group and we were right in the middle. It was a quiet, peaceful journey through the canyon. If riders want safety... More

My 9 year-old loves horses, and we had the choice of two hours in Bryce, or this trip. $85 per person for almost 3 hours on a horse, away from crowds was great. It is early in the season so it was just the two of us. Ryan was our guide, and he was very kind with my chatty 9... More

Once we got to the corral we rushed onto the saddle, was not given time to become familiar with the horse or riding technics. Scenery was outstanding and guide was fair, very young. I got the the horse from hell, "Lil Bee" she was uncontrollable, kept running me into the bushes and trees. The guide had to take over the... More

It didn't matter that we went through a storm midway and got soaked, it's was just perfect, we took the three hour ride, yes Ok, as previously stated you do go up one path, turn round and come back down the same, but same scenery?? You see the things you didn't on your way out, it felt like a whole... More

We took the 3.5 hr ride. The ride itself was only 2 hours, on the dot. They took over an hour to assemble and drive us in their van to the starting point in Red Canyon, then it took time to get everyone mounted and on the trail. Be aware - It was a complete misrepresntation of the ride. I... More

Our teenage kids, my husband and I loved this adventure. We had the best guide, Chance, who was a cowboy from Utah who led us on our horseback ride around the canyon! Best afternoon adventure! We got a little close to the edge of the canyon, however. Anyone afraid of heights, beware!
