Sunset point is a nice spot to stand, sit and stare at the views. It is also where two different below the rim loop-trails begin and end. Parking, restrooms, and water are available at the point. We took the Navajo Loop trail-what an experience-highly recommend it.

if you want to see the colours changing be there at least and hour before sunset so that you can see the shadows creeping across the silent city. I have some great photos as the colours change

Make this a part of your hike along the rim trail at Bryce Canyon. It provides some different views than other spots and is beautiful.

Early morning or late evening will get you good views of the Hoodoos. Also the trail head to get to the Queen's Garden.

Once you venture out to the end of the rock formation that overlooks Sunset Point, your breath will be taken away! The enormity and grandness and magnificence of Bryce Canyon is in full view. To watch the shadows creep over the hoodoos was mesmerizing! Don't talk! Just watch! And tell those around you to be quiet too! So many tourists... More

I took some advice I found online and started my morning hike here at Sunset. Take the Wall Street trail down through the canyons, then go back through Queen's Garden and end up at Sunrise point. Then walk the short distance back on the Rim Trail to the car. My son and I did it in two hours. It's around... More

During our tour of Bryce Canyon, my wife and I parked at Sunset Point after enjoying a light snack lunch at a small picnic area off the main park road. After enjoying the wonderful sights from this area, we hiked along the canyon Rim Trail to Sunset Point.

For me, this area of the National Park has the most to offer. The views from the observation area are likely the best in the park. If you have any time, or ability do yourself a favor and take the Navajo Loop hike. It is only 1.3 miles, but you will see more there than almost anywhere else for the... More
