We were confused when we saw the name of this point because it does not face west but east as do all the stopping points along the canyon. We did go out there at sunset anyway. It is an easy walk from the parking lot. It was not crowded when we were there. It is a beautiful place and as... More

This trail connects to many other trails and offers the best overall feel for the canyon. If you only have time for one hike you can expereince a lot of what the canyon has to offer in this one area.

I followed what other had said and they are correct. Start at Sunset point and finish at sunrise point. Not only is the hike out of the canyon easier but the views from Sunset point are much better than those from Sunrise which if done the other way you will miss as the views would be at you back.

Walk the trail between Sunset and Sunrise point and stop to shoot 150 photos, but get acclimated first, altitude illness can be a little scary.

Easy paved walk out to the point along the canyon rim - about .5 mile from the parking lot. Bueatiful spot to take pictures at sunset.

The sunset point gives the great view even if there is no sunset. We didnt see the sunset, but during the sunny day its look amazing too.

An amazing view and a must stop place.. If I had the time I would do the Rim walk to the first stops rather than drive from stop to stop..

Being in that point on top of Bryce Canyon in that time the sun sets in the far horizon, is something that leaves us speechless and shows us how small we are compared to nature. Do not miss the opportunity and try to get there at sunset time, but at any other time also will be a great adventure.
