Very informative. The video is one of the best we've seen in the National Parks. Lots of good information about the history of the park. We spoke to a nice, helpful park ranger as there were some road closing the day we were there. The gift shop is very nice.

True to form, the park rangers here are top notch. They have all the answers and are thoroughly enjoyable to talk with. The visitor center has a film that you should not miss. Nor should you bypass the displays......everything in this building is designed to help you have a great experience in the park. In our case, we stopped here... More

We stopped in just to take a quick look around and we end up staying for about 40 minutes. They have a little theater with a 20 minute video. They also have nice little exhibits and a nice gift shop. Bathrooms are nice and clean and the staff are helpful

Great Staff! Friendly, helpful. and knowledgeable about everything Badlands. Great exhibits. The fossil work shop is fantastic. Not a bad thing to say. Our son really treasures the junior ranger badge he earned. It was a bit of work but worth it. Highly recommend stopping. Oh and do your self a favor by buying a passport book or bring your... More

Lots of informative books, fossil displays, and rangers on duty to answer all your questions. If you have an extra 20 minutes, make sure to go into the theater and see "The land of stone and light". Well worth viewing about the animals and plant life in the park.

Worth stopping while at Badlands. If you have kids, make sure to have them participate in the Junior Ranger program. You get the books at this visitor center. Nice little gift shop and interactive exhibits for kids.
