Our son and his fiancee said their wedding vows on Saturday, 6/7 in the smaller of the two arches. They love visiting Arches and this is their favorite spot in the park....It's a beautiful hike....make sure you take lots of water.

At the end of Devils Garden trail, you will find this double O. It is not too much nice as the others, but overlook from the rock on the other side is nice. You can then choose primitive trail or main trail on the way back.

I had read this was an adventurous hike so I was surprised that the beginning of the hike (think about .5 miles) was totally flat - basically a sandy sidewalk. There is plenty to see but not exciting. The trail gets much more fun once you start going up the steep trail after Landscape Arch right beyond the fence. This... More

Hike to Double O Arch was an excellent way to escape crowds at Arches NP in mid August. The trail isn't the easiest one, but it's definitely worth it. The views along the trail are just spectacular, especially at the sunset, The Devil's Garden with The Double O Arch is a charming quiet place. Wear good hiking shoes and don't... More

The hike there was on a sandy path and it couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes to get there. Very pretty at sunset.

Arches NP was the first stop on our 3-week road trip my son and I just finished. There are certainly nicer arches to be seen, but this one is fairly unique and the Devil's Garden Trail was a really nice hike to reach it though certain sections of it can be challenging if you're not prepared. As with many of... More

We were hiking along the Primitive Trail and came upon what we thought was the Double O Arch: two very small holes in the rocks forming a figure 8. Do NOT be fooled by this, the real arch is just around the corner. Easily one of the most unique arches in the park.

As my title says, I was more impressed with the hike than the end point, Double O arch. So it's more about the journey than the destination! I went last week in February with fresh snow on the ground, so lots of parts of the hike required microspikes because of ice under the snow, which added to the greatness of... More

Very cool arches and easy to get to for the whole family. It gets crowded sometimes, so it may be hard to get snapshots.

We did the "normal" trail to double O arch and the primitive trail on the way back. We also visited numerous arches on the way there: - Pinetree arch (not so special) - Tunnel arch (not so special) - Landscape arch (very nice, I have reviewed this one separate) - Partition arch (quite nice) - Navajo arch (ok) and on...
