After checking out Landscape Arch (which is a must) we decided to continue on to Double-O Arch. This moderate trail which required some scrambling up rocks proved to much for my wife. She opted to sit in the shade and wait for me and my two daughters (ages 11 and 13). It took us about 1.5 hours to return from... More

Beautiful hike. A little strenuous. Do it early in the day as it gets very hot in the afternoon. Take water with you. Definitely worth the effort!!!

Less crowded as this is at the end of the trail so not that many people get there. It requires a bit of rock climbing but everyone can make it. Might be not that easy if you are afraid od height there are few places with open air around you.

We saw this while walking the Primitive Trail through the Devils Garden; amazing! Great views from a variety of perspectives, although a warning sign we missed suggests you stay away from the arch itself due to a recent rock fall.

If you are in for a good hike, some scrambling over rocks, not afraid of heights, then do the long hike to Dark Angel, and you pass Landscape Arch (easy), and beautiful Double O Arch, followed by an easy small add on to Dark Angel. turnaround at Dark Angel and look from where you hiked, it's amazing. Getting to Double... More

Get to this one early within the park. This place gets packed quick and the parking becomes tricky. Beautiful landscape within this National Park! Make sure you have at least 2 full days just for exploring!

This will be a review about the portion of the Devil's Garden Loop Trail that leads up to this Arch - because that's where we stopped and looped back. This is definitely the best trail in Arches to get your visit's worth. You see several AMAZING arches and realize the reason they named the park after them :) So, 4... More

We decided to start this hike pretty late in the day, but did make it to the end, but had to hustle back to beat the fading light. Some nice scary moments on the trail, so if you are afraid of heights I'd steer clear. A good challenge of a hike.

This is a 2 to 3 hour hike from the car park. You need to have plenty of water, proper footwear, and adequate sunscreening.it can get very hot. I would advise to take a walking pole, though this is not essential. Parts of the walk are a scramble and involve walking along ridges. If you don't like heights do not... More
