Went to Arches National Park during Memorial weekend. Arrived shortly after 9am and waited 40 minutes to enter the park. The line of cars extended about a 1/4 of a mile. Unfortunately, sometime after we got in, the park was closed due to the number of cars that came in. We had a great time although finding some parking was... More

Having flown over the area too many times the wife and I finally booked a Disney trip to visit the area. The sites in and around Moab are priceless. Arches was a wonder all to itself and it clearly a must see location. Our sights will last a lifetime.

Near Moab UT about 4.5 hours southeast of Salt lake City. A great national park. Admission is fair. Ensure you have plenty of film/digital space on you disk.

My family spent two, half-days in Arches (one evening to see Delicate Arch at sunset and one afternoon to hike). My kids loved the Junior Ranger program, and we all loved the scenery! The vast amount of arches is amazing, and despite the limited number of parking spots at the popular trail-heads, we were able to park and hike several... More

So many different arches and colorful landscapes to see! The trails allow you to get up close and personal with many of the arches. The snow-covered La Sal Mountains in the distance offer wonderful backgrounds for photos. One of the best parks we've ever visited! That said, get there early, since a lot of people want to visit it too.

Beautiful Park! The sights are amazing, but some of them you have to hike for a bit to see. Most parks we've been to have had an exit on the other side, but not this one. We should have read the map when we went thru the gate as we could have gone to the end and worked our way... More

Camping at Arches was such an experience. I was traveling with my geology class on a field study. The white sand was beautiful. The Arches were beautiful. The sunsets are beautiful. It does get crowed so plan extra time and have patients. IT is worth every moment!

Much more "doable" than the Grand Canyon. A lot of magnificent views could be seen from the car. Best to go at sunrise or sunset. The colors are amazing.

This is a beautiful national park. Some of the trails are difficult with big stone steps, but the views are worth it! Get there early, we got there at opening, 7:30 am, and there was not much traffic but by 11 parking places at the turnouts were getting full. Take plenty of water and sunscreen, even at 56 degrees the... More

Loved the park and the hike to Delicate Arch. It was a little tougher than I expected, especially hiking at 6AM but well worth it and a must do. We were surprised that the park actually closed to the public due to traffic on the road leading into the park. This was the Saturday before Memorial Day 2015 and Moab... More
