Arches is full of gorgeous geological formations. Make sure to stop at the pull-outs to take them in! I went in early April and found the weather very dry...and was grateful to have brought a big water bottle with me. I love that the NPS has water spigots in front of the Visitors Center with encouragements to carry enough water... More

I don't grant 5 star reviews lightly. Arches allows great views for folks with a range of mobility. There are lots of amazing things to see from the car or short easy walks for your resting days, and there are moderately challenging hikes that get you away from the braying masses. As the name implies, there are a lot of... More

Hard to add anything interesting here. What a wonderful place. We'd just been to the other 4 Utah National Parks and Arches was very different and should not be missed. We just drove through and made all the scenic stops for photographs. I'm sure if you were a hiker it would be paradise. At times some of the rocks and... More

We recently spent a day at Arches National Park and loved it. We could easily have spent two days as it was not possible for us (mid 60s) to hike to all of the arches in one day. With only one day we hiked to Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint early and then drove to Devil's Garden Trailhead. We hiked that... More

This is a very nice park with a great visitors center and good trails, views, etc. We had a 3-year-old who can't hike 2+ miles to see an arch and honestly isn't very interested long periods between seeing non-moving rocks. We saw the double arch, delicate arch, and some other sights but the park was packed and the arches were... More

Unique due to the many spectacular arches formations together with balanced rocks, rocks windows etc. presenting mother nature at her best. Relatively easy traffic in and out ( suprise), good campgrounds ( very limited space w/ reservations months ahead), however inadequate parking and cleanless some of the restroom areas ( specifically in Delicate Arch) needs Parks Rangers attention. Best time... More

There really is no place else like this. Photos hardly do it justice as the rock formations in endless shapes, many forming arches, are first magnitude "eye candy". Bring the camera, take your time in this national treasure, and prepare to be whelmed.

Classic western vistas with amazing arches throughout the park. It's not that large in comparison to other national parks, only about 20 miles of paved road from one end to the other so you can see alot in a couple of hours. But do get out any enjoy the up close views provided by hiking right up to the arches,... More

I can't describe how amazing this place is. I have hiked the arches during day and night time. If you're hiking during the day time, make sure you wear an appropriate hiking shoes and must wear sunscreen. Will be very hot. During night time, take a flashlight with and pay attention to the trails your hiking. You will get very... More

This is a great park to visit! Lots of things to see with some hiking to do. I really enjoyed seeing all the amazing arches. I was walking the trail to the broken arch and it started snowing. It was great! The entire hike of the Double O arch was the best part for me. All along the trail you... More
