The water is freezing cold, however it's gorgeous! It was busy, but it was still easy to find a spot. Went on a warm day. For about half an hour there was a harmless fast moving scenic fog that came in off the water, but it quickly went away. There are lifeguards here. more

This is a nice, small beach to go to for a cold swim and is pretty with rocky ledges on each end. However, it gets crowded and I would not spend my day here. Acadia National Park is not a beach destination, although it is the coast, but it is mostly rocky. If you want a beach go to the... more

The morning we arrived in late July the beach was shrouded in fog. It was way to cold to swim, but the fog gave the beach different look than you would find in most pictures. We found it very calming to walk the beach in the fog. more

Walked across this beach while on a hike in Acadia. Very popular, but too cold for much swimming. The pond adjacent to the beach is interesting to explore. more
