Drove through Acadia National Park this week on the 27 mile loop. This is a perfect way to see the park for all age groups. There are numerous places to stop along the way to view the ocean; all of them pretty in different ways. The price for park entrance is only $20 per vehicle for an entire week. My... More

The drive along the ocean was amazing with many awesome viewing and hiking areas. This is a not to be missed experience and combine it with Cadillac Mountain. Count on a full day or two and that's without much hiking.

The loop is a beautiful drive not to be missed. Be sure to stop along the various overlooks along the way.

Take your time and pull off to capture nice views of the shoreline of Maine. The drive is slow and steady with ample opportunity to pull of and snap great photos

A beautiful and peaceful drive. Los of areas to pull over for viewing or picture taking. You are able to park in the right lane of the loop which is nice cause there is not always a overlook when you want to stop.

a lot of visitors. Waited a long time at the Visitor Center for a Pass. Drove up Cadillac Mountain and really enjoyed the awesome views, but way to many people. Spent some time at Sand Beach and walking on the rocks along that drive. Left the Park and did not make the whole loop, just to many people.

Are you from the northeastern U.S. or Canada? Have you ever been in the woods? Then you've seen Acadia. We arrived early with guide book and cameras in hand, ready to drive the park loop, hike with our dog, and love every minute of it. But we were sorely disappointed at every turn. First stop – 9 AM at the... More

I only had half a day to spend in this beautiful park. I love to hike and feel terrible that I didn't have time to take advantage of the multitude of trails available in Acadia. I took the drive around the loop in order to take advantage of the beautiful stops along this ride. My favorites were: Cadillac Mountain, Thunder... More

This is a beautiful park. Try to pick a sunny day for best effect. We went into the visitor center to get our entry pass, and there were at least a hundred people in line. Because we have a Senior National,Park Pass, the park service employ told us just to put it on the dash and show it at the... More
