When we first pulled up for our lunch reservation, there was a terrible parking lot jam. No one seemed to be leaving. Very small parking lot that's grossly undersized for the traffic they get. There was one gentleman who basically was nice telling people that there was another full lot down the road. Basically had to drop my wife off... More

I heard this place is really nice but I didn't really feel it. The lake looks like any old lake bit the bubbles are really nice. Jordon pond house is overdone. The trail around the lake isnt really scenic. Just don't get your expectations too high.

Definitely get lunch at the Jordan Pond House while in Acadia. It is a beautiful setting and relaxing spot outside by the pond. The food is fantastic and the lobster roll, popovers and blueberry soda all devine.

The walk around Jordan Pond is advertised as 3.2 miles; but, our "map my walk app" measured it at 5.5 miles. It is much more than 3.2 miles, that's for sure. We would advise going around the pond starting to the left: that's the most challenging side. It is all pretty level but the west shore has an extensive series... More

Jordan pond house is a great little spot for lunch with a beautiful view. The chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts was excellent. I had a frothy chai tea and popover with it that set up a super experience. The popovers are too pricey in my opinion but it was a one time experience treat. My husband chicken sandwhich was... More

We have done this trail many times. It is fun for kids as it has planks for a boardwalk and rocks to climb on next to the pond. It also has bridges with nice mountain views.

We had the best popovers at Jordan Pond. The restaurant serves "high tea". The view is gorgeous. After tea we walked around the pond. A delightful day. Make sure to make reservations atleast one day in advance!

This is one of the busier trails in the park because of its accessibility and relatively level terrain. The loop around Jordan Pond is about 3 miles and is mostly a flat trail with a few sections that require maneuvering from rock to rock (still very easy for most). There are very nice views of the "Bubble" mountains and the... More

Great easy hike around Jordan Pond. We took our dog who loved being so close to the water. Following the hike we had lunch at the Jordan Pond House. We enjoyed our first lobster rolls ever and had the most delicious popovers! They even provided a bowl of water for our dog.
