How relaxing - We had a beautiful day and our guide (Betty) was superb! The horses are well trained and we saw a little of Acadia NP that most people miss out on. Give it a try!

We signed up for the two hour bridges carriage ride not sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise. Our driver, Betty, was well versed in the history of the area and shared her knowledge. The early fall weather was spectacular on this day. What an enjoyable way to spend two hours. This is highly recommended for anyone wanting to... More

We had the best time with a very knowledgable guide. Mitchell was full of interesting facts and a personality that reached out to all! What a great ride and new information he shared. I loved his line that questions lead to conversations!!! Don't miss it!

We had the 2 hour 3 bridge carriage ride and thoroughly enjoyed the 84 yr old tour guide, Elmin Mitchell. What a wealth of information. The carriages are like those you'd have on a hay ride, so they are not shaded, but you are on a shady road most of the time. They are easily accessed with only a few... More

We took the one hour carraige ride. Our drivers were.entertaining and informative. The horses were well behaved. I think it was 20 bucks for adults, it was worth the price. I would do this again. Did not feel ripped off.

Our crew was not really up for traditional horseback riding, but a carriage ride along Rockefeller's carriage roads was the perfect substitute. Our guides were young but knowledgeable and fun. We learned the basics about the bridges and the history while enjoying candid conversations about the horses and great places to eat.

Took family on the Day Mountain evening carriage ride. Awesome way to view the carriage trails. Morgan, the driver, was full of great information about building the trails, history of the park, and famous people and their cottages. Not too long so small kids enjoyed without getting bored.

This was a much needed relaxing ride after a long afternoon of hiking. We took the Day Moutain Summit ride, and our guide Colleen was excellent. She was born on the island and knew so much about the history of the island, the park, and the town. She seemed very comfortable with our horses, Homer and Bea, who were brother... More

I was so looking forward to a carriage ride in Acadia National Park and this one did not disappoint. The guides, Shelby and Colleen, knew so much about the park. The two hour trip to Day Mountain was lovely and relaxing. We wished we had another day to take another trip to see Rockefeller's bridges.

My wife and I were so thrilled to be able to enjoy this late afternoon carriage ride. We took the Day Mountain Summit tour. Our female driver and guide was wonderful. She knows the two draft horses (named Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings) very well and delighted all of us on the tour with details about how the horses are... More
