The Mount Tamborine Botanical gardens are well worth a visit when in Mount Tamborine. It is only small compared to other major city Botanical gardens however there is still a lot to see so leave at least one or two hours to stroll around it as there is still a lot to see depending on what is in season and... Went here on a Saturday close to dusk so didn't spend as long as we wanted. This is a great free garden with heaps of flowers and plants to see, well worth dropping in. I believe it's maintained purely by volunteers so drop a couple of dollars into the donation box.

We came across these gardens by accident, and how pleased we did. The gardens are run by volunteers and when we were there, there were plenty of helpers. The gardens are free with good toilets and picnic benches and tables under covers. Beautiful, have a look.

We visited the gardens thinking we would just see something small, the gardens are really beautifull, after a walk through an ideal spot to have a picnic lunch and a glass of wine. There are covered table areas for this purpose as well as shaded grounds for a blanket picnic.

A nice display of bromeliads and the usual cool climate plants camelia walk azaleas and magnolias. Also a palm garden. Lots of seating and easy walking if you need to take it slow. Lovely spot for a picnic. I saw a brush turkey there. And the water ways are nicely done. There is parking for cars and a cafe which... More

The Botanical Gardens were just waking up from their winter slumber when we visited on the weekend. A well tended and pretty gardens with a good variety of plantings. My husband and I enjoyed wandering arm in arm admiring the flowers and garden beds. A very pretty spot on the mountain perfect for a romantic walk or a peaceful picnic... More

We spent a lovely spring day at Tamborine Mountain and enjoyed a picnic morning tea at the Botanical Gardens. The gardens are fairly small, but quiet, attractive and well-tended. The picnic tables and toilets are clean and tidy. Spring flowers are just coming out now.
