The gardens are quiet and peaceful. They are well set out and include a rainforest walk, a Japanese garden and rose garden. The central lake is picturesque .

What I love most about these gardens is that they were started by the community and run by volunteers. The gardens are stunning. There are several peaceful outlooks and benches at which to relax and contemplate. The rainforest walk is closed due to maintenance. There is still tons to see. If you are quiet and patient you will see many... More

Thak you for your kind review and Iam pleased you enjoyed the visit. The bird life at the Gardens is delightful and often you see a family of Tawny Frog Mouths and an Azure Kingfisher that live by the lake. Sadly, water fowl are few as the eels tend to get the young at a fairly early age. As you... More

We visited here on a self-made itinerary around Tamborine and had heard that the Botanical garden was worth a visit. I have personally found regional Botanical gardens to be fairly hit and miss but the Tamborine botanical gardens were amazing. Set aside about 30 minutes - 45 minutes to enjoy a walk around to take in the natural beauty and... More

Another beautiful day on Tamborine Mountain and we went to the botanical gardens. What a beautiful place to wander with someone special, quiet your mind, or picnic with your family. The gardens are a work in progress. They change with the seasons and the newly created areas. I love the orchids, begonias and camellias. There is a place for everyone.... More

We can recommend the spot for a gentle, calming and easy stroll through some beautifully planned garden sections with chances to sit and reflect in various areas. A pity there was no cafe, but then the work is carried out by volunteers..

It is a very peaceful place, though maybe not so peaceful when the Volunteers are working there! We have discussed the subject of putting a cafe in at the Gardens, but the cost is beyound us at present. There are many cafes... More

We spent a couple of hours exploring all the different areas of the gardens. I rated it 4 overall as the rainforest walk is currently shut but looks like it will be an awesome addition when it's opened. My kids, 2&4, had a great time running around and spotting all the wildlife. Thoroughly recommend

Thank you for taking the time to review the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens. I am pleased you and your family enjoyed your visit but am sorry that the Rain Forest Walk was closed. Due to heavy rains earlier in the year on going damage to the pathways made us realise that we must rebuild sections of this walk. It is... More
