We visited the gardens thinking we would just see something small, the gardens are really beautifull, after a walk through an ideal spot to have a picnic lunch and a glass of wine. There are covered table areas for this purpose as well as shaded grounds for a blanket picnic.

A nice display of bromeliads and the usual cool climate plants camelia walk azaleas and magnolias. Also a palm garden. Lots of seating and easy walking if you need to take it slow. Lovely spot for a picnic. I saw a brush turkey there. And the water ways are nicely done. There is parking for cars and a cafe which... More

The Botanical Gardens were just waking up from their winter slumber when we visited on the weekend. A well tended and pretty gardens with a good variety of plantings. My husband and I enjoyed wandering arm in arm admiring the flowers and garden beds. A very pretty spot on the mountain perfect for a romantic walk or a peaceful picnic... More

We spent a lovely spring day at Tamborine Mountain and enjoyed a picnic morning tea at the Botanical Gardens. The gardens are fairly small, but quiet, attractive and well-tended. The picnic tables and toilets are clean and tidy. Spring flowers are just coming out now.

this little gem is tucked away on the mountain - lovely to walk through with cultivated gardens and bushwalks, native plants - quiet spot and lots of bird life especially around native flowers

Not as big as we first thought. Plenty of open grassed areas, different cultural areas and plants, but not a lot of seasonal planting. At this time of the year, not much was flowering, but the ones that were flowering were good. Overall, it is a nice cool place to get out of the heat and city rush. If you... More

There is something different to see every month in these beautiful gardens. Such a variety of plants and different areas to see. This garden is created from voluntary work from dedicated local residents. What an achievement. The bromiliade section is awesome. Lots of space for kids to run. Have a picnic there. Lovely
