While exploring the area, had to stop here. I love the fact that there are boardwalks, well maintained and the gardens are beautiful. Worth a stop.

Thank so much for taking the time to review the Gardens. I am pleased you enjoyed your visit. It is very rewarding for the Volunteers who work at the Gardens to hear comments from visitors such as yourself. With some recent rain, combined with the Volunteers work, the Gardens are looking very lush at the moment. Kind regards, The General... More

Prettig amazing to see if you never seen them in Nz. Because they can't bare the light it is unable to make pictures of them. Prices were a little bit high given the fact the tour only takes half a hour.

This is definitely a nice place to take a walk with the young ones. There are lots of flowers, trees and plants. However, the place could do with a little bit more maintaining or even markings on the plants to inform visitors what they are looking at. The pond also really needs a good cleanup.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Gardens. The gardens are maintained by a dedicated small team of Volunteers, who's average age is over 73. Not only do we maintain the gardens, and purchase all the equipment (tractor, ute, irrigation systems, and the rest of the equipment needed to maintain an 11 hectare garden) but we also raise... This garden is smaller than most botanic gardens but it was just so relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. My elderly parents enjoyed the well maintained paths and doing the kids walk with the grandkids. Lovely themed gardens and volunteers were working hard to keep the place presentable. The resident kookaburras were not shy for photo opportunities. A must... More

Well worth a visit. Loved the crepe myrtle garden and cascades. Hydrangeas were a picture. The new small agapanthus looked fabulous.

I do appreciate you taking time to both visit our Gardens and to write a review. I am also pleased you enjoyed your visit. We have had some very helpful rain over January and this has done wonders for the plants as everything is looking lush and green. I will pass your comments on to the Volunteers as they are... More

What a beautiful find. We always visit Botanical gardens on our adventures with the kids, and this one is a fine example of excellent planning in a smaller space. The BEST kids walk we've ever encountered, and wonderful to see the forest mingled with the cooler climate plants from where we live. Lovely ponds, great paths, and although the 4... More

Very nice and relaxing place. We did not have much time to walk around as it was getting dark quite fast, but I definitely would love to come back.

A magnificent garden and well spread out. Fun for the kids too with a walk through a rainforest. There are no ducks on the pond, just in case your little ones have come looking for ducks. fyi.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Gardens. Sorry about the lack of ducks, or for that matter, any other birds on the Lake.
