I have been coming here since I was a child and It has hardly changed a bit! Beautiful beaches and rock formations with wonderful walks along the south west cost path. The walks are not for the faint hearted as there have been landslides over the years, however this adds to the rural charm. The cove has pubs and cafes... More

A must if you are in the area It's very steep to start but gets better after 50 or so yards. Beautiful England. We are so lucky to have a coastline so diverse

Lulworth cove is beautiful! It's one of the hidden treasures which is well worth a visit! The cove itself is gorgeous, as is Lulworth - with lots of little shops, places to eat, a really sweet little place. The information Centre is really interesting and well worth a visit!!! Durdle Door is equally lovely, but not for the faint hearted... More

The Cove is easy to get to. It is a rocky beach. Stop and watch the people climbing on ropes, the children and dogs playing on the shore. There are short up hills overlooking the cove, too. Lots to admire. Durdldoor is another matter. From Lulworth you go up a very steep, small rock, wide path to the top of... More

Amazing part of Dorset. Difficult for the less physically able though. We parked in the main car park at Lulworth cove and to get to the views of Durdle door you have to go up a long, steep hill. We were knackered by the time we got to the top but it was worth it. An alternative would be to... More

We walked down to Durdle Door a few days during our stay in Dorset. There are a lot os steps down! You can buy a weekly ticket to the car park.

This has to be the finest stretch of the UK coastline that is also easily accessible. If you're travelling by car, get there early and park on the cliff top car park beyond the holiday park. Charges are £4 for 2-4 hours, £5 for 4-6. You may also be able to park for free near the church in West Lulworth... More

Absolutely stunning, I could have been anywhere in the world but UK with these views, clear blue sea, stunning clean pebble beach, another example of how beautiful the south coast is, be sure to take sensible walking shoes as plentiful routes you can hike but also required when going down to the beach. Must see, I drove from Bournemouth just... More

A short but quite steep hike, but it's well worth it to see Durdle Door. The beach is great for walking, relaxing, swimming. A very scenic spot and great for a picnic. The sound of the waves here is amazing.
