Not idea for the infirm as you have to park at the top of the road and walk down a hill to the pretty little cove. There are little shops and cafes on the way. It;s a pebble beach, lovely clear water and a little jetty where you can catch a rib boat trip to see Durdle Door and the... More

It’s been over 20 years since I last visited Lulworth Cove as a young child when, although popular, it was a relatively unspoilt place and I absolutely loved it. Seen through the eyes of an adult ... hmmm, it’s still beautiful, but has one major eyesore. People. Or more precisely, people with absolutely no manners or concern for the environment.... More

We came many years ago and thought we couldnt visit Dorset without going back to Lulworth.Got a good swim in the sea but the pebbly beach may make it tricky to navigate for those people who might be a bit unsteady on their toes.Didnt do Durdle Door this time as not as fir as last time we came as remembered... It's busy on a nice day and very very steep but you can park nearer Durdle door, and down at Lulworth cove on the same parking ticket. The sea around this area is perfect for a swim. The scenery is really nice. All the beaches are pebbles.

Beautiful location Got the train from London Waterloo to Wool (3hrs journey). There are plenty of taxis outside train station waiting for tourists. About a 15 min drive to lulworth cove cost £25. There was 5 of us so worked out fairly cheap divided. The cove was stunning. We went on a boat ride with RIB RIDES for £6 for... More

Decided to take a look for half a day and to be straight , was not that taken back by anything . Sure there are plenty of places to eat and the surrounding area is scenic but when you got down to the bay it self , you were greeted with metal fencing and a demolition site which takes the... More

Stopped here on the way home from Monkey World and it's just a lovely place to explore, well worth it if you're passing. Yes parking is a little expensive but it's convenient and as I understand the money goes to the conservation of the area

Blessed by the weather but wow what a lovely place. We parked in West Lulworth. The village area is really nice. We walked over the top down to Durdle Door and back, not excessive by any means although it looks it, it actually is not too steep and a good pace anyone could walk it. Very relaxing, if in the... If you ever have a fine day early on in the year before the hoards of tourist come down then durdle door is a wonderful place ,our dog loves walking in the sea here and we have been lucky enough to have had picnics just the three of us ,without a tourist in sight
