Back again for another look at the old familiar. To be honest we were heading to Tyneham but the roads were closed for shooting. Anyway, a welcome walk from Lulworth up the hell hill and down to the Door. Busy as usual but not shoulder knocking. The views are stunning, as expected, and always worth visiting. Since my last visit,... More

Worth to visit, you can't experience such natural beauty anywhere else. Durdle door is one of the sites which are protected under World heritage. One day is sufficient to explore both the places. Day trip from London to Durdle door. Train from Waterloo to Wool Station takes 2.5 hours. At wool station you can get a Taxi to Durdle door... More

Lulworth cove & Durdle door is well worth a visit. There is a about a mile and a half between them both, but it is a steep climb from the cove. There are not many facilities at Durdle door so plan your day around having a break at the cove in the many restaurants & cafes.

If you can go early in the morning you have Durdle Door to yourself. We walked all along the beach with no one in sight till about 10am. Fantastic

Either park at the caravan park for a shorter walk to Durdle Door or walk a mile from Lulworth Cove although it's a steep climb . . Worth it for the spectacular view of the coastline

Visited Lulworth Cove on a Saturday evening. Such an interesting place to visit. Lovely walk near there with Archie our dog. The cove itself is beautiful and I would love to see it in all weathers. The exhibition is interesting and lots of eating places there to enjoy. Recommend a visit xx

This is my favourite seaside on the south cost. You can track or cycle around or just sit down on the top of the hill and admire the magnificent view. The water could be warmer but nothing you could do about it :)
