Walking the beach at Peregian and stopping there for lunch was a highlight on our recent 93 km walk on the Sunshine Coastal Path from south of Caloundra to Tewantin. It is a shame that path is not better publicised and marked - especially by the Noosa Council - as you can easily access it on public transport.

A lovely long stretch of beach. Delicious meal at Raw Energy and a groovy little vintage shop called MidModOz.

It is not just a wonderful beach but more a community than a holiday destination. Lovely beach surrounded by parks and a good balance of cafes and restaurants and a wonderful book store- an easy place to relax and spend a few hours.

The walk along this unspoilt beach between Peregian and Coolum is lovely.. Have a skinny latte at Baked Poetry in Peregian Square. Wonderful!

Like most of the rest of the Sunshine Coast beaches, this faces East so you will always have some sort of breeze. A trendy little nook, Perigian suffers from an abject lack of parking relative to demand. I often find that Noosa has easier parking than Perigian and I am guessing that's just the way the locals want it?

This is one of many very good beaches along the Sunshine Coast. It is a long beach with wide clean sand and slopes gently into the ocean in a number of places. Take care as the surf can be a little wold and there will be rips. It is an excellent place for a long walk.

Peregian Beach is a great beach for the whole family, you have the life guards there it is not crowded and clean. There is a park and skating area. In summer watch out for snakes. You can have a barbecue and the shops and cafe's are close by to get food, drinks and ice cream.

The country beach town that is great for good coffee, pleasant service and then you can go for a swim, walk on the beach and come back for lunch.
