Peregian Beach is a great beach for the whole family, you have the life guards there it is not crowded and clean. There is a park and skating area. In summer watch out for snakes. You can have a barbecue and the shops and cafe's are close by to get food, drinks and ice cream.

The country beach town that is great for good coffee, pleasant service and then you can go for a swim, walk on the beach and come back for lunch.

Flags were a bit of a walk, but that could be because its winter. beautiful sand. lovely walks. Everything is within walking distance. Quiet! Cannot see the beach from where we were staying, but only five minute walk. Very clean,

The town centre is a great place to go for a coffee and meet friends. Dog friendly. Great beach - you can walk forever...nearly.

It's ok but only a little shade and not much of interest unless you like long uninterrupted views of sand.

This quiet little beachside town is simply gorgeous. There is a small shopping precinct with boutique shops selling fashion, homewares plus more. There are a number of eateries & bars... With an interesting mix of cuisines. The beach is an eastern facing beach & is patrolled by lifesavers in front of shops - swim between the flags!

I live in Brisbane but have family on the coast and I love this beach. It used to be really quiet and only the locals really used it but it has become quite popular now and is a very busy "dog" beach. I have never had any issues with any dogs and everyone is always very friendly. Away from the... More

Peregian Beach is a great little village which has a authentic unique character. You will feel a sense of community and friendliness which Noosa and other more developed beaches have lost. The beach can get rough and is not as protected as Noosa for swimming but better accommodation value and related atmosphere make it awesome!!

We were staying near Peregian Beach on a recent trip to the Sunshine Coast but only discoverd this great little village toward the end of our stay - which is a shame. It appeared to have a great little cafe culture going as well as some interesting independent retail outlets. It felt so different to Hastings Street and most of... More
