Not as crowded as Noosa and perhaps more families and pets. A good long beach, not too rough and good for children. Good parks surrounding the beach and lots of cafes and restaurants. Dogs are allowed in the park but not the beach - be aware of snakes, it is the season and lots have been seen in the vicinity.

This is the quintessential aussie beach, without the crowds of Noosa Heads. Highly recommend if you don't mind a lot less choice in amenities (there is still a good selection of restaurants but far less shops). Plus not sure if there is a life guard like Noosa.

Peregian beach is a secret local hide away on the Sunshine Coast just near Noosa - a must to visit and when you do eat at Le Bon Delice - excellent!

Peregian Beach is just over 10 minutes south of Noosa Heads and 20 minutes north of the Sunshine Coast airport. It's got a quiet village atmosphere with some great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and fashion boutiques. There is a fantastic sweeping surf beach which is never crowded, even at peak periods. It’s great for body boarding, surfing and fishing and... More

Whilst my wife and I together with family regularly stay at Noosaville, we recently had our first visit to the Peregian Beach area and this has certainly been to our detriment. Had our first visit on Sunday and of course enjoyed it so much had another expedition down there today. A fabulous beach and lovely classy shopping precinct make this... More

Great selection of restaruants, cafes and specialty shops and all within a breath of the surf club, park and beach.

Village full of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants. We had a few really top meals during our stay. The beach is gorgeous although exposed and we had to head north to the calmer beach at Noosa for our son to swim. Overall, very relaxing vibe with fewer tourists than other Sunshine Coast locations. Will definitely revisit.

Wonderful beach for a stroll, swim or surf. Long stretches of white sand, dynamic Pacific Ocean and warm sub tropical climate. Always swim between the flags as the ocean is unpredictable. Other than that, what's not to like?

I've been going to peregian beach for many years and it's always beautiful. In recent years there have been a few new cafes that have really added to the area while still maintaining that quiet feel which makes this area so special.

This beach takes your breath away. Walking down to the water feeling the golden grains of sand underneath your feet. With each step a squeak sneaks out and your feet sink firmly into the sand. The water is quite warm and definitely worth plunging into the crystal water. Make sure you swim between the flags because this is not a... More
