The one day cookery course was great. Our chef for the day was Emma and she was excellent. I attended on my own and Emma made me and the whole group feel relaxed. She answered all our questions and gave us some great tips. The dishes she cooked were delicious and we enjoyed eating the beautiful food. After lunch we... More

My wife treated me a day at Dunbrody cookery school and I absolutely loved it. We wen through 8 dishes (I think) from 9:30 to 16:30. French Chef Julien was both fun and helpful making sure we would understand how to make these recipes right. The school is very well designed so everyone can watch (most of the time) and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the cooking experience and the warm ambience in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were very comfortable - maybe too warm - good complaint. The tutor and his assistant gave their all to ensure that it was a wonderful experience.

Although we really enjoyed our course, we were slightly disappointed with our overnight experience. There was no-one around to welcome us on arrival and although our room had been reserved for 3, it was equipped for 2. There was NO Tea&Coffee facilities in the room and no hairdryer? Quite disappointing for a 4 star Hotel. Our evening meal was excellent... More

I attended the 'summer entertaining' and 'come dine with me' one day cookery class this August and really enjoyed the day. Recipes were gorgeous, learned a lot! It was a very enjoyable day and was surprisingly relaxing. We got to eat and try all recipes and was full leaving that evening! The course tutor was very good, he knows his... More

Top class facility in a lovely setting. Course structure is just about right in that in the morning you observe a dem onstration and in the afternoon you do some cooking yourself. Nice relaxed and informal athmosphere. We also got a fillet steak lunch included!!!!

A great day course from which my husband & I have taken away a lot of make again dishes. Julian truly is a master chef & entertained us throughout the day with his witty banter. It was more demo than hands on which means that we got to experience a lot of perfectly cooked dishes. When we got to cook... More

We stayed at the Glendine Country House across the road from this Hotel and we ate here twice. The food was amazing the surroundings were lovely and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We look forward to a return visit.
