I did a two day cookery course at Dunbrody Cookery School recently and had a great time! There were only 4 of us on the course so we got a lot of individual attention. Chef and teacher Julien was helpful, enthusiastic and great fun! Overall it was a lovely experience and a great way for food loving friends to catch... More

Have done three cookery courses here all over the course of a year or so and each one has been as good as the next. Julien is really great, makes the class fun and all the while gives some great tips. Really love being able to enjoy the food once it's cooked. I can't recommend this course highly enough. I... What can one say about perfection. Do just set back and enjoy your dinner. As for a tourer of the kitchen. No rush, and great food.

The one day cookery course was great. Our chef for the day was Emma and she was excellent. I attended on my own and Emma made me and the whole group feel relaxed. She answered all our questions and gave us some great tips. The dishes she cooked were delicious and we enjoyed eating the beautiful food. After lunch we... More

My wife treated me a day at Dunbrody cookery school and I absolutely loved it. We wen through 8 dishes (I think) from 9:30 to 16:30. French Chef Julien was both fun and helpful making sure we would understand how to make these recipes right. The school is very well designed so everyone can watch (most of the time) and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the cooking experience and the warm ambience in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were very comfortable - maybe too warm - good complaint. The tutor and his assistant gave their all to ensure that it was a wonderful experience.

Although we really enjoyed our course, we were slightly disappointed with our overnight experience. There was no-one around to welcome us on arrival and although our room had been reserved for 3, it was equipped for 2. There was NO Tea&Coffee facilities in the room and no hairdryer? Quite disappointing for a 4 star Hotel. Our evening meal was excellent... More
