Nothing wrong with going here as a tourist but you can get a great view from any roadside beach area. You can't go up in the lighthouse and you can't get to the beach area from the lighthouse stop. So if you are in the area and need something to do this is a okay stop but I would not... More

Don't waste your time and money! The only saving grace was the beautiful view. But 4 adults paid a total of $53 PLUS $3 parking. Essentially it was half closed, the historical exhibits were extremely lacking and the attractions were mainly for children, but very lame. On top of that, we were APPALLED at the small cages the animals were... More

The place is well maintained. The cost is high, but people have to consider that this is a private institution. The research conducted in the park as part of the theme park is right on. Great information about the history of the island and the area. Just to enjoy the beauty of the Ocean, the sounds of the wind and water... More

Place was easy to find using Google maps. Personal was courteous. Great views and well maintained. Good facilities and clean. Provide some idea of Puerto Rico history.

Went here with my boyfriend to see the lighthouse and the park. The cost for entrance is a little steep for such small area of attractions. Should divide the entrance to the water area from the rest and charge separately. Its a good and fun experience for children under 14. The faro could have more information and interesting details added.

For five adults over the age of 30 this was place was overpriced and dingy. The aquarium/shark tank/hill was very dark and dirty. There was an overwhelming smell of damp, it was hard to see-while walking through the area-and the tanks were cloudy with a green sheen. The amount of information, in the Taino huts, about the history of the... More

Twelve dollars each and 3$ parking to see the lighthouse up close by the ocean. You cannot go up into the lighthouse and the museum consists of 20 unidentified items: anchors, coins and other iron pieces in a dimly lit room. The children's park is no big deal. Outrageously priced for what you see. Someone is making a killing at... More

Hello StinkerNc, Each attraction and business has its specific own type of clients, it is very obvious that we are not your favorite place, and can not satisfy everyone, and that said it is important to let you know that we are oriented to Family enjoyment, (not only to allow people to see the lighthouse up close in the ocean)... This facility encompasses the Arecibo Lighthouse which is well maintained and an interesting place to visit. A Park surrounds the Lighthouse and is nice for youngsters. Replicas of the three ships relating to Christopher Columbus are located here and several exhibits relating to pirates are available. Small water rides for the very young. Beautiful views of the ocean from the... More

if you are going to visit a beach in PR, then the one and only heaven blessed, warm and sapphire-colored water with crashing waves of white froth is below the lighthouse on Arecibo Beach. DO NOT LEAVE PR WITHOUT VISITING ARECIBO BEACH! On the way to the beach, be sure to stop at the roadside stand for local food and... More

80 degrees with a great breeze and beautiful waves to watch in a somewhat pristine condition 1980's park. Go enjoy it is magnificent just for the views and photo opportunities . Probably 5 stars but out of season they still keep the high entrance fee but not all the side attractions and concessions were open😟

Hello Mr. Robert P, Thanks you for your visit and honest review. Just to clarify that this lighthouse is 100 years older than that. Is was the last Lighthouse Build in 1898 by the Spanish Government while in the island. just before the Spanish American War. It is solely maintained and restored with proceeds from access tickets, that is why... More
