The lighthouse was a beautiful place to stop and take in mother natures wonder. We watched the waves and surfers near by.

The Arecibo Lighthouse & Historical Park is about an hour drive from San Juan. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this park, which combines the Arecibo lighthouse with historical exhibits, a small aquarium and a small water park. As you enter the park, they have recreated a Taíno village with "bohíos" and a "batey". Next, they have replicas... More

A lot to do in one place. the lighthouse and coast are beautiful, the aquarium was COOL I mean out of the sun and the zoo was nice. if we had our bathing suits we would have gone in. I was able to take some pictures of the huts and the ships. Thanks

We spent nearly three hours at this site and enjoyed every minute of it. The views are breath-taking; the description of Taino history is very good and the building is very well preserved. One BAD point. The 'zoo' should be closed immediately because it serves absolutely no purpose; and the animals are in a very distressed state. Close it down... More

I've been to the this lighthouse in everyone of my vacation trips. While this place has gotten better since my initial visit several years ago, it still could use some TLC. Swing need repairs, some woods on the ships feel weak, the cave was hotter than before, gift shop was almost bare, the main branding for the lighthouse could use... More

This light house has many things include. You have the Splash area where you have pools and a lot of water diversions for kids. It has a couple things you check out for yourself like that I don't ruin that excellent experience for you.

Park is off young kids, and even for them overrated and too expensive . Aquarium has nice fisher etc. But very small. We came to see lighthouse and still had to pay the excessive entrance fee and parking fee. Lighthouse very nice, but contrary to what we had read you are not allowed to go up in tower. Lighthouse museum... More

The park is really for 3 to 6 year olds. It is small with 3 small copies of the Christopher Colmbus ships, a lighthouse that you cannot go up to, a pirate cavern, a small acquarium and a mini pool. Oh there is also a mini zoo that we did not see. You can go around the park in one... More
