A morning well spent

I visited here with a friend and her two young girls. We all had a good time. We saw a mother sloth and her baby, a family of whitetail deer, and a variety of birds, insects, and... read more

A great introduction to Costa Rican wildlife. GREAT for the kids! The guided tours are particularly great.

I would not waste my money going here. A tropical place as beautiful as Cost rica, how can they house such a place where the reptiles and animals are in an unhealthy state. Snakes were all skinny as if unfed, the ponds with gators were not clean, overall, the animals were not kept jn good conditions for a park that... More

I visited here with a friend and her two young girls. We all had a good time. We saw a mother sloth and her baby, a family of whitetail deer, and a variety of birds, insects, and amphibians. There is a petting zoo with rabbits, goats, and piglets for the kids. The cafe serves decent local food at a reasonable... More

With gardens themes after the major habitats found in Costa Rica, well-maintained trails, and exhibits, INBioparque is an excellent way to spend a lazy afternoon in the middle of busy Santo Domingo de Heredia. Best to go early in the mornings or afternoons to avoid the large groups of students that visit the park often. Learn also about the outstanding... More

They give a great tour here and we saw numerous birds, a sloth, iguanas, turtles, and bugs and butterflies in their bug house and butterfly house. We were there late in the day - early in the day would be better to see more animals. The guide was very informative and the gardens are pretty well kept. They have some... More

Nice array of choices at buffet. Sorry they are closing the park. We had rice and beans, fruit and some wonderful natural fruit drink. The servers were very friendly.

It is not the same as seeing a national park, but you can begin here. There are some animals, costumed Ticas in bright dresses, informative slide shows, and a small café.

For adult foreigners the cost is $25 usd and students $19 usd. Not much to see. Other than a good amount of butterflies there isn't anything else. The park must probable had better days but today it is poorly maintained. ZooAve is much better experience for much less money. Sorry, just not a good experience, AND EXPENSIVE

It was really fun to go here and we were really excited to visit her as we had just landed in San Jose and were ready to see the different biomes in Costa Rica. You could compare this place to a zoo in the United States. However, you are actually in the exhibits and the animals can like walk up... More

Butterfly garden, rainforest path, expansive park grounds, indigenous animals!! What`s not to like for a day out with the kids!! And they learn something as well!!!
