Nice but expensive

A very nice park however very expensive especially if you do not have the energy to walk completely around and see everything. The green houses were being updated during our visit.

Visit the historical plant palace house - most beautiful parc. We enjoyed the temporary exhibitions at/and the visit of the castle. Kids loved it. Good food at the Orangery (self service style: order at counter and prepared à la minute).

Living near Brussels for some 10 years now, but I didn't know this park yet. We want for a walk during Easter and loved it: it was a sunny day which helped, and the Magnolia trees started to blossom which was beautiful. The park is big, you can easily walk around for a day, we only strolled around for a... More

Beautiful place in Brussels, quiet and far from the center, might be a little bit tricky to access it by public transports but well worth it. The park is big, the botanic garden is amazingly beautiful, you can get lost there for hours or a entire day. Many different atmospheres to discover inside as they have a big variety of... More

This garden didnt appear to have much colour but the trees were majestic and the setting round two large lakes was magnificent . Small entry charge . coffee shop in the summer in the Orangery . The glasshouses are in the process of being revamped but it is mostly open and will look great when it is finished . Definitely... More

I was actually staying with my friends cousin who lives in Meise. Oh to have this wonderful park right near your house. It really was so beautiful. we even got to sit outside for a nice drink and a frangipani. Not only do you see ducks, but old iron fences on the bridge, and a castle with a moat behind... More

Huge park (botanic garden – 92 hectares – 18.000 different kind of plants) very close to Brussels. The park is an excellent place to have a quiet stroll but the highlight of the visit is most certainly the Plant Palace: 13 interconnected glasshouses, eleven of which simulate the climate of a different region of the world. The botanic garden was... More

If you are in the area don't miss to visit the botanic garden. They have more species than you can imagine and the garden is beautiful. They have also three different greenhouses with all the plants from the different parts of the world. As from 1st April till end of October you have "the orangerie" where you can eat and... More
