The garden is quirky and unusual, with several water-powered features and such healthy moisture-loving plants - especially the monster Gunnera! I took a party to a very special evening meal at the cafe - this was a one-off event, but the regular lunches and snacks are also absolutely delicious. The phone number below is for the cafe, not the garden.

We love looking at other people's gardens, so this was an obvious choice whilst in the area. It was a lovely sunny day and just magical walking down the various nooks and crannies of the garden. It was well looked after yet not the 'clinical' look, but just left in some ways for nature to take its course. There are... More

The garden had been recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. It helped that it was a lovely day in June and we were able to enjoy the wonderful planting. There are a few quirky features, including an 'igloo' made from coloured wine bottles which, with the sun shining through them, reflected in the pool inside. There is also a... More

We almost didn't bother as it was raining but I'm so pleased we did! Despite the rain it was a lovely place to visit. We spent ages there and left feeling inspired!

Simply stunning - make sure to be near the incredible cuckoo clock 5 minutes before the hour - it was just amazing. Lovely planting but not all manicured to death. Had the pleasure of a chat with the owner. The water spouting gargoyle is a joy and the glass bottle summer house incredible - run out of adjectives now. Just... More

Excellent food; we had delicious homemade fishcakes, salad with the best dressing I have ever tasted and a lovely bread roll to boot. The chef was clear about ingredients and very attentive too. A little gem!

This place is very special. It is a lovely little garden filled with imagination, sounds scents and sights. Given that it is not huge we spent ages here. There are many larger NT places that haven't kept our interest for that long.

A lovely place to visit on a sunny day. The follies dotted around the garden make it a bit quirky but there's so much more to see as one ambles along the paths and bridges intertwining the pools and streams. Plenty of places to stop and sit on a seat to admire the flowers and views...it was an oasis of... More

The new team in Westonbury Mill Water Garden Cafe are producing some wonderful food. We had lunch there last week and had a hot Chicken and Ham Pie, made that morning, that was sensational. The pastry was golden and crisp on the outside and the inside of the pie was moist, seasoned perfectly and delicious. This was served with a... More

We loved this garden. It was a beautiful sunny day and the spring flowers were glorious. We were fortunate enough to have arrived just before midday so we soon heard the water powered cuckoo clock. It's a delightful place and unlike another reviewer we found the cafe to be excellent - really freindly staff and superb cake, trifle and coffee!... More
