Although very popular with tourists, I found the Harrison's Cave experience just a little scary. Other people on the tour, however, seemed to enjoy it immensely (including my partner) so if you enjoy this type of thing, please don't be put off by my review. I'm not claustrophobic, but do find enclosed spaces a little unnerving and the fact that... More

I recently went to Harrisons cave on a tour, and it was great fun, firstly you see a short film that tells you the history of how Barbados was created. Then you go down in a lift about 300 feet to the entrance of the caves. You join a train type buggy with about 12 sections (seats) which goes down... More

This trip I was really surprised at! We did the tram tour which took about 45 mins. It was really hot down there but well worth it! Amazing to see all those things I learnt in my geography class in high school all those years ago first hand. Definitely worth tearing yourself away from the beach for!

thought Harrisons,s Cave was a ,must see, so i took the rather long taxi ride a few days ago. Generally you should give this place a miss. It is not at all spectacular and the staff seem bored. The running commentary was delivered as if it was a recording. The cost was usd 30 and the taxi there and back... More

Instead of sitting on a tram driving inside the caves - take the real adventure and put on a helmet with a light, elbow and knee guards to see these incredible caves. Be prepared to trash your clothes and maybe even your shoes after because you get down and dirty crawling on your hands and knees through the unbelievably intricate... More

We did the tram tour and it was well worth the price paid. I had never seen anything like it and the guided tour was informative and interesting. Down in the cave the temperature is still fairly warm so you won't need extra clothing and the tunnels are very spacious so no worries about claustrophobia.

Great attraction, defiantly worth a visit. Staff very friendly and help. The tram takes you round the cave with a tour guild giving you all the facts about the cave. The tram stops in serval places for you to take photos. Top tip, go early to avoid the cruise ship parties.

Harrison Caves is a really well presented attraction, very tourist friendly and first world. Right from the entrance where you buy your tickets where there is a lovely shop. To the glass elevator ride down to the caves entrance, which has a gorgeous view of the surrounding rock walls and lush vegetation. The audio presentation is well done and then... More

We were 50/50 as a group about caving but it was well with it. The cave tour is very well run and the gitney is a great way to cover over a mile underground. Guides are informative and knowledgable Would recommend the trip to young and old. For the adventurous you can take a 4 hour exploring hike with a... More
