I loved the Flower Forest...it was so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. The forest is complete with paths going in many directions and you can almost get lost in there was fine with me! Visiting the Flower Forest is a great way for visitors from Barbados to learn more about the natural side of the island. The only problem I... More

THIS is the way to do a rainforest walk! It is a beautifully laid out sort of botanical garden with everything you would see in a rainforest but with well maintained paths. Don't miss it! They really care for the flowers, trees and shrubs. See photo.

Undoubtedly a jewel of a tropical garden, this is a must-see attraction if you can tear yourselves away from the beach. Hard to find if you are driving (even with the hundreds of signs), but the destination of many tours and taxi excursions, this is a beautiful, calm and at times breath-taking oasis. A well-equipped visitor centre and very welcoming... More

It claims it is a flower forest , but it was more forest than flowers. There are a few areas were there are some stunning views , even stopping as many times as we did the walk only took about 40 mins overall we were disappointed considering the cost.

There are huge numbers of flowers in our 8 acres, but it takes lots of green to make a flower. We are not a flower shop, we grow tropical varieties suited to our climate, and visitors to the garden will always see the plants along with flowers. The 'Forest', which is an absolutely beautiful rain forest... with huge majestic palms... More

Great garden, no guides as has been mentioned but it's impossible to get lost as its well sign posted. There's enough of a walk to keep you here between 30 mins and 1hour 30 mins depending on how you want to take it all in. Also the staff here are fantastic and I recommend lunch on the terrace- the food... More

It doesn't has guides, but they do offer you a brochure with the pictures of the flowers that you are going to see. They also provide you umbrellas in case it rains.

Flower Forest doesn't provide a guide with payment of the admission fee alone, but we do offer that a guide may be provided from our staff at an extra cost of $15 USD when it is requested. A guide can name and explain many things about the plants, trees and about Barbados, and it is good. Naturally we only have... More

A really beautiful walk around the forest with some lovely views. There was a restaurant butt we didn't try it so can't comment. It's a little tricky to find but once you find the signs, you'll get there after a long drive down a bumpy road.

The entrance is approached down a very steep narrow road ,the signposts for the Flower Forest had stopped further back and we almost turned round thinking we had gone astray...then we spotted a car coming up the hill and the driver told us to continue down to our destination. So pleased we did. There is ample parking and ,as we... More

If you like gardens then certainly make a detour to visit this one. There are a great variety of plants along a number of trails which are easy to navigate and walk along (for all ages and fitness levels) with many resting spots. You can easily spend 1-2 hrs here.
