I went to the beach at Coll Baix last week on a hired mountain bike and found it the best method of travel, as cars were not able to go any faster than me due to the pot holes. I had no trouble finding the start of the path down to the beach, however finding the end of the path... More

It may take 40 minutes of hiking to get there, but if it were easier to reach it certainly it would not have retained its unpoilt character. Quite demanding hike, especially towards the end, but definitely worth the while. The scenery is beautiful, very wild, the beach beautiful and clean, the waters pristine. Lots of space on the beach given... More

As per recommendations of camperdownfarmgirl took a hike after parking in the parking lot in Alcudia (it's actually just 11 km of the hikers path but this is just to the top of the hill). The walk extends through the road along the villas into the park with wild goats (many of those funny guys all along the way) and... More

Visited today. There isn't much in the way of directions online, so here are some helpful tips: If arriving in Alcudia via the bus, look on google maps before setting out. The bus will drop you off on Av. Princep d'Espanya. You'll want to walk to the corner of Carrer Eclipsi and Carrer Estel. There will be a map there,... More

If walking from Alcudia - can be boring as combination of road and track. Before walking down to beach, there are toilets (portable type). Difficult to find track down to beach once almost on it - obvious way at start...Nice walk though - you get great pics at the end

Had a very pleasant walk from Mal Pas that ended at the most stunning beach where we got our kit off and spent a glorious three hours in March sunshine. Really worth the effort and would recommend to anyone. On the way back as we were picking our way over the difficult bit at the bottom we came across a... More
